NFL Week 7 Parlay Picks

Written by on October 15, 2018

The Tennessee Titans and Chicago bears will both be looking to bounce back from their respective losses when they square off in their respective NFL Week 7 matchups. The Minnesota Vikings and surprising New York Jets will both be looking to extend their winning ways when they square off in their suddenly intriguing week 7 Inter-Conference clash. With the start of a brand new week here, now is a perfect time to offer up some early parlay picks that could help you cash in big over the course of the coming weekend.

NFL Week 7 Parlay Picks

Tennessee Titans (3-3) at Los Angeles Chargers (4-2)

Prediction

Tennessee looked completely clueless in their 21-0 shutout loss at home against Baltimore on Sunday and now, I don’t have a whole lot of faith in Marcus Mariota and the Titans to get the job done in Week 7. Los Angeles had their best game of the season in completely overwhelming a Cleveland Browns team that looked pretty solid heading into their Week 6 matchup this past weekend as Melvin Gordon scored three times and Philip Rivers added two passing touchdowns.

More importantly, the Bolts are playing some sound defense in not allowing more than 14 points in each of their last two games and I just don’t see Tennessee putting up enough points to either pull off the outright upset or cover the chalk. Tennessee has been held to 12 points or less in three of their last four games and that’s just not going to cut it against a Chargers team that has an excellent defense that finished third in points allowed a year ago.

Tennessee has lost 10 of its last 11 meetings against the Chargers while going 0-4-1 ATS in its last 5 games against the Chargers. Overall, the Bolts are an insane 9-0-1 ATS in their last 10 games against Tennessee, making them the super easy pick to win and cover the chalk as a near touchdown home favorite!

NFL Week 7 Pick: Chargers 28 Titans 14

Minnesota Vikings (3-2-1) at New York Jets (3-3)

  • When: Sunday, October 21 at 1:00 PM ET
  • Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
  • TV: FOX
  • NFL Week 7 Odds: Minnesota -3 / Total: 47

Prediction

While I’ve been highly impressed with Sam Darnold and the New York Jets this season (who isn’t?) the fact of the matter is that Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings are the correct pick to get the outright road win and ATS cover when the visit the Jets in their Week 7 Inter-Conference clash.

I know the Jets have won two straight in completely impressive fashion by taking out Denver 34-16 in Week 5 and then beating Indianapolis 42-34 this past weekend, but Minnesota has looked solid in winning each of their last two games and I believe they’re going to use another great defensive effort to get after Darnold and force him into a couple of costly turnovers to get the win.

I know the jets have the slight statistical edge in scoring and points allowed, but Minnesota’s defense has picked it up nicely the last two weeks after a seriously slow start and I believe the Vikings realize that it’s time for them to start stringing some wins together and that this is a game they just can’t afford to lose.

Forget the fact that Minnesota is an uninspiring 2-3-1 ATS in its last six road games and just 2-4 ATS in their last six meetings against the Jets. Minnesota is semi-desperate to keep winning and the Jets are about ‘due’ for a loss if you ask me.

NFL Week 7 Pick: Vikings 31 Jets 17

New England Patriots (4-2) at Chicago Bears (3-2)

  • When: Sunday, October 21 at 1:00 PM ET
  • Where: Solider Field, Chicago, IL
  • TV: CBS
  • NFL Week 7 Odds: Patriots -2.5 / Total: OFF

Prediction

I know Chicago has been one of the more surprising teams in the league so far, but for me, this weekend’s results for the Bears and Patriots illustrates perfectly why Tom Brady and the perennially powerful Patriots are the easy pick to get the outright road win and ATS cover. The Bears collapsed against Brock Osweiler and the Miami Dolphins in their crushing 31-28 road loss on Sunday while New England found a way to get past a Kansas City Chiefs team that features the most explosive offense in the league this season. While the Bears are definitely a better team than they were just last season, Chicago still has some issues they need to address and some growing pains to expect out of second-year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Conversely, Tom Brady and the Patriots are heating up faster than Vinny ‘the Microwave’ Johnson ever did back in the day for the ‘Bad Boy’ Detroit Pistons. The Pats are a blistering 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games, an even more impressive 16-3 SU in their last 19 road games and a nearly perfect 7-1 SU in their last eight games against the Bears. Chicago has lost 15 of its last 23 home games and I don’t see them winning this one over a Patriots team that looks like it’s going to rip off some more consecutive wins moving forward.

NFL Week 7 Pick: Patriots 28 Bears 21
