While the schedule for the 2019 regular season won’t be officially released until April 18, there are already several things that NFL bettors should know about the upcoming season.
It’s Going Down In The Chi!
The NFL is mixing it up for its100th anniversary celebration. Instead of giving the league’s now, annual Thursday night opener to the defending Super Bowl champions,Roger Goodell and the league’s schedule-makers have decided to give the first game of the season to the rising Chicago bears who will also be celebrating their 100th anniversary of existence. That’s right NFL bettors, you’re going to get a season-opening look at superstar linebacker Khalil Mack and a Bears team that won the NFC North a year ago under first-year head coach Matt Nagy. The league had an embarrassing situation on their hands a year ago when the Chiefs vs. Rams matchup schedule for Mexico failed to materialize because of poor conditions at Estadio Azteca, but the league will schedule the Chiefs and Chargers to throw down in an AFC West divisional showdown at Estadio Azteca with Los Angeles being listed as the home team, most likely, a week before Thanksgiving.
