Can Matt Stafford and the Detroit Lions cash in as home underdogs against Khalil Mack and the Chicago Bears? Do the rebuilding Miami Dolphins stand a chance when they host the Super Bowl hopeful Philadelphia Eagles? Last but not least, can the Denver Broncos do some damage to the Los Angeles Chargers’ postseason plans? With the start of the 2019 NFL regular season right around the corner, it’s time to take a look at three, must-bet matchups on the Week 13 schedule.
2019 NFL Week 13 Must-Bet Games
Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions

The Bears are well on their way after going 1-2 in Year 1 under head coach Matt Nagy last season. The same certainly can’t be said for a Lions team that struggled mightily in going 6-10 in their first season under head coach Matt Patricia. Now, as they set for this Week 13 NFC North divisional showdown, Chicago looks like the relatively safe and easy pick to beat Detroit for the fourth straight time. The revitalized Bears swept the Lions in 2018 by recording a 34-22 home win in Week 10 and a 23-16 road win in Week 12. After hosting Detroit in Week 10 (win) I’ve got Chicago completing the sweep for the second straight season. Chicago is simply the better team on both sides of the ball, not to mention they’ve got the biggest game-changing force on the field in this affair in superstar linebacker Khalil Mack.

Philadelphia Eagles at Miami Dolphins

The Eagles are loaded on both sides of the ball, plus they’ve got some added motivation after watching their hopes of repeating last season go down in flames in the divisional round. Miami is in Year 1 of their latest rebuild and although I think the Dolphins got it right by hiring former Patriots linebackers coach Brian Flores as the guy to usher in their new era, right now, the Fins are clearly inferior to Philadelphia in every way. The Birds have won three of the last four meetings against the Dolphins with each victory coming by at least a touchdown. Miami has a big question mark at quarterback and that just doesn’t bode well for any team at any juncture of the season. Philly gets the huge, double-digit road win in Week 13 to give their playoff hopes a big ass boost!

LA Chargers at Denver Broncos

While the Los Angeles Chargers are the only team in this Week 13 AFC West divisional battle with legitimate Super Bowl hopes, these two rivals have split their last six regular season contests. Last season, both teams won on the road, with the Broncos recording a 23-22 win over the Chargers in L.A. in Week 11 before the Bolts returned the favor by spanking the Broncos 23-9 at Mile High in their regular season finale. This time around, I’m going with the Chargers to get another big road win in Denver, seeing as how they should be locked in and focused on nailing down a playoff spot by the time this Week 13 affair rolls around. Vic Fangio is a defensive genius, but I contend that John Elway blew it again with his quarterback situation by reaching for Joe Flacco.
