The NFL playoffs are beginning to take shape, with some teams clinching while others become mathematically eliminated from contention. While we are beginning to get a better idea of who is in and out, the final seedings are still very much up in the air. I would not want to hazard a guess as to how things might play out, especially when you consider that the rankings change every single weekend, just as they did again after a rather dramatic Week 14.

Given how poor the Broncos have been on the offensive side of the football this season, you might imagine that their games have been trending towards the under. The opposite is in fact the case, as Denver has now seen 4 of their last 5 go OVER, including a huge over last weekend with rookie QB Drew Lock putting 38 points on the board.We always know that we are going to see some serious offense from Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, so I think it stands to reason that this one might just creep OVER the point total.

The Seahawks are coming off a tough loss last Sunday and will be looking to bounce back on the road this weekend against a Carolina Panthers team that appears to have shut up shop on the season.The Panthers defense has been leaking points of late, and while I think that Seattle has a comfortable win here, I am not convinced that Carolina can deliver enough on offense to take this one over the point total. It might well be close, but I am leaning towards the UNDER.

I don’t usually pick games when one of the teams still has to play on Monday night, but this one seems to good to ignore. It’s not clear whether Elie Manning or Daniel Jones will be under center for the Giants this coming Sunday, but I honestly believe that it doesn’t really matter which of them gets the start.
These are two very poor teams going head to head, and while the over has been trending for these two of late, I think that the number being posted this week is a little on the high side. I am looking at a pair of struggling offenses staying UNDER the 48-point total.

Atlanta Falcons at San Francisco 49ers in NFL Week 15 (OVER 46 ½)
The best game of the weekend in Week 15 saw the San Francisco 49ers eke out a 48-46 win over the New Orleans Saints in an absolute thriller.This is a team that is tough to stop when they are firing on all cylinders, and while I think they will have an easier time of it at home this weekend against the Atlanta Falcons, they could still potentially give up some points against a very dangerous Falcons offense. 4 of the last 6 meetings between the Falcons and 49ers have gone OVER, so look for more of the same this coming Sunday in this NFC match.
