We are now just a matter of days away from the start of the season, which means that now might well be the best time to get in on the future bets in the NFL. Once teams start to pick up wins, you are going to see their odds shorten across the board, so now is when you are likely to get the best odds. We are going to look at all the teams in the league and talk about their chances of winning the division, conference, and Super Bowl, as well as looking at their win total for the year. Let’s get right into action so you can make your bets against their NFL odds.
Baltimore Ravens 2020 Season Analysis | NFL Betting Predictions
Last season was a huge one for the Baltimore Ravens, in the regular season at least. QB Lamar Jackson put up video game numbers on his way to an MVP season, helping the Ravens to a 14-2 record, the best in football. On the downside, though, they fell to another early exit in the postseason, so they will be looking to do better this year. What kind of shot do they Ravens have this season?
Ravens Win Total (O/U 11 ½)
There were a lot of people who were unsure if Lamar Jackson would be the answer to Baltimore’s QB woes, but he has been a revelation. Baltimore has now won 24 games in the last 2 seasons, including a run of 12 straight regular season wins last year that took them to 14-2. They figure to be very good again this season, but with the Steelers and Browns both likely to be better, I am leaning UNDER here. 11 might well be their total this season.
Ravens to Win the Division (-250)
Given that the Ravens have won the AFC North in back to back seasons, it is not a surprise at all that they are the favorites again here. Unless the other teams in this division can find a way to slow down that potent Ravens offense, it is going to be tough for anyone else other than Baltimore to land on top. I do believe that we are looking at a much tighter race this season, but I still like the Ravens to win the AFC North.
Ravens to Win the Conference (+325)
Now, here is where things begin to get a little tricky for the Ravens. Their brand of football plays well in the regular season, but things seem to go off the rails when the postseason rolls around. Baltimore has suffered back to back first round defeats in the playoffs, with their offense stalling dramatically both times. Last year, they managed just 12 points in a loss to the Titans in the Divisional Round. Until they prove themselves playoff ready, I have a hard time making this wager.
Ravens to Win the Super Bowl (+600)
Again, we are looking at a team that has not had a win in the playoffs since 2014, and while these team is stacked, it’s hard to have confidence in the Ravens in the postseason. They are certainly more than good enough to hang with the Kansas City Chiefs, but will they be able to last long enough to actually face them in the postseason?
