We are down to the final four teams in the NFL playoffs, which means that the conference champions will be decided this weekend. While there have been some surprise results over the past couple of weeks, 3 of the 4 teams that will be playing this weekend are teams that landed in the top two seeds in their respective conference. The lone exception is the #6 seeded Tennessee Titans, who have stunned the Patriots and the Ravens on their way to a matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
On the NFC side of things, it will be the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers going head to head in a rematch of their earlier meeting this season. We all hope that this one will be a little more competitive. It’s time now to start talking about how to wager on these games, so let’s get the ball rolling with the NFL Betting OVER/UNDER picks.
2020 NFL Conference Championship Games Over/Under Betting Picks
Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs (O/U 52 ½)
Let’s start this out by looking at the Tennessee Titans and what they have done with the O/U this season. Overall, they come into this one with a 10-8 O/U record, but that is split on the road, going 5-5 O/U in those games. They closed out the regular season with 7 of their last 8 games going the way of the OVER, but the Titans have tightened up defensively in the postseason and seen both of their games to this point go UNDERWhen you think of the Kansas City Chiefs, you instantly think of explosive offense, so you might assume that their games would go OVER more often than not, but that is not the case, as they are 9-8 O/U over the course of the season. That said, their lone playoff game this season went OVER in a big way, with the Chiefs winning that one 51-31.
Over the last 10 meetings between these two teams, things are slightly in favor of the OVER. I think we are looking at more of the same here, so I will be playing the OVER.

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers (O/U 45 ½)
Despite having one of the best QB’s in the game, the Green Bay Packers have not really been a potent offensive force this season, usually going the ugly route to win their games. Overall, they are 7-10 O/U on the season and 3-5 O/U in games played on the road.We did see the OVER hit, though, in the Packers 28-23 win over the Seahawks in the Divisional Round, so perhaps things are going to be a little different for this team in the postseason.
The San Francisco 49ers began their playoff run with a win over the Minnesota Vikings in a game where the UNDER came up. Overall this season, the 49ers are 8-8-1 (O/U), so wagering on them in the point total has proven to be a little hit or miss.
Things tend to be easier to handicap when they face conference opponents, though, with 7 of their last 10 games against teams from the NFC going OVER.
When these two met earlier in the season, it was the UNDER that hit, mostly because the Packers offense had a bad day at the office. That went against the trend, as these two are 7-3 O/U when going head to head. I am on the OVER here.
