NFL 2020 Week 10 O/U Picks Expert Analysis

Written by on November 12, 2020

Week 10 of the NFL season begins on Thursday night with the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans going head to head in a critical AFC South matchup. That is just one of many big games on the schedule for this week, though. Now that we have officially passed the midways point of the season, teams are in a position where they pretty much know exactly what needs to be done in the second half to make a serious run at the playoffs. It is going to be fun to see if the teams at the top can maintain their momentum, while also looking out for a team or two that might get hot in the final weeks of the season. For now, though, all we can do is focus on the games coming up this weekend, so let’s get right into our O/U picks for Week 10 so you can place your bets against their NFL odds.

Week 10 O/U Picks for the 2020 Season | NFL Betting

Jacksonville Jaguars at Green Bay Packers (OVER 51)

While we all tend to focus on the battles at the top of the standings, it is worth noting that there are things going on down at the bottom, too. Most notably, we are looking at teams potentially tanking to finish last and get the first pick in the upcoming draft, which would likely mean landing QB Trevor Lawrence. The Jacksonville Jaguars are very much in that conversation and look to be ready to take another pounding on the road in Green Bay this coming weekend. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have been putting on a bit of an offensive clinic this season, so we would certainly expect them to run up the score in this one. The OVER has hit in 6 of the last 9 for the Jags, while the Packers have seen 7 of their last 10 go the same route.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers (OVER 50 ½)

Just when it looked as though Tom Brady and the Buccaneers had slipped into high gear, they were driven off the road by the New Orleans Saints for the second time this season. The Buccaneers are going to need to try and shrug off that stunning 38-3 loss and find a way to get back on track quickly, as they are now behind the 8-ball a little in the NFC South. This is by no means an easy one, though. The Panthers may have lost 4 in a row, but they have Christian McCaffrey back in the fold and are a team that can put points on the board. The downside is that their D needs work, which is why the OVER looks so tempting here. The OVER has hit in 14 of the last 20 for the Bucs, so another reason to consider this bet.

Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots (OVER 43 ½)

This was always going to be a transition season for the Patriots after shipping Tom Brady out of town, but it has perhaps gone worse than expected. They struggled to get past the hapless New York Jets on Monday night and will now have a short week to prepare for the Baltimore Ravens. While the Ravens have not been as explosive offensively as they were last season, this is still a very good football team. They have also been great on the road, winning 10-straight, so expect them to win again here. While the under has been trending for both of these teams, that seems to change when they go head to head, with 5 of their last 6 meetings going OVER. This point total is low enough to see the OVER hit again.
