NFL 2020 Week 10 SU Picks Expert Analysis

NFL Week 10 SU Picks Expert Analysis

Written by on November 10, 2020

We have now crossed the midways point of the season and have just one team remaining unbeaten. That would be the Pittsburgh Steelers, who maintained their perfect record with a closer than expected victory over the Dallas Cowboys over the weekend. On the flipside, the New York Jets are still looking for their first win of the season, although they gave the New England Patriots a real scare on Monday night. It’s now time to start looking ahead to Week 10, and to begin seriously thinking about the playoff battles that are about to become even more intense with each passing week. We will have a number of picks for you for Week 10, but let’s get the ball rolling with a trio of SU selections for you to bet on against our NFL odds.

Straight-Up Picks for Week 10 of the 2020 Season | NFL Betting

Detroit Lions over Washington Football Team

We have a rather odd little scenario taking place in this game in that Washington have yet to pick up a win on the road, while Detroit is winless in their own building. Something has to give this weekend, but which way will it fall. While I am leaning towards the Lions at home here, I may yet take this one away from my picks. QB Matthew Stafford left last week’s game with an apparent head injury. Word is that he has cleared the concussion protocol, but that does not necessarily mean that he is a lock to start this weekend. I am going under the assumption that he will be in the starting lineup, which is why I am leaning towards the Lions. After all, it is the home team that has had the best of this matchup in recent meetings.

Cleveland Browns over Houston Texans

This is one of those games where you look at the recent meetings and automatically lean one way. The Houston Texans head into Cleveland this weekend knowing that they have beaten the Browns in each of their last 5 meetings. Given the direction that these two teams are currently headed, you can almost throw that stat out the window. This is a Texans team that has just 1 win in 4 attempts on the road this season, going against a Cleveland team who are 3-1 in their own building. The Cleveland Browns come into this one as a slight favorite, and when you consider that the favorite has covered in 6 of the last 8 between these two, it’s not a stretch to imagine the Browns winning here.

Buffalo Bills over Arizona Cardinals

This is, without a doubt, one of the biggest games on the schedule this weekend. The Buffalo Bills have a nice little lead in the AFC East with a 7-2 record, but they can certainly feel the Miami Dolphins breathing down their neck after a huge win against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9 in a game that was a thriller. The Cardinals need to find a way to bounce back from that loss and improve upon their 5-3 record, which has them among the NFC playoff candidates. These two don’t meet very often, but when they do, it is the Bills who get the better of the matchup. The Bills have won 6 of the last 7 versus Arizona and I think they sneak another one here.
