Eye-Opening Analysis Reveals ’NY Jets Top NFL Spreads for 2016 Regular Season

Week 9

New York at Miami (PK) Analysis: The Jets may be on the road in this Week 9 AFC East divisional date, but they’re my pick to get the win and ATS cover since they pretty much own the Dolphins. The Jets have won three straight and four of the last five meetings against Miami while covering the spread in each contest. More importantly, I love New York head coach Todd Bowles and I fully believe his defensive genius will force Miami signal-caller Ryan Tannehill into at least one or two costly turnovers that turn the tide in this divisional matchup. The Pick: New York 27 Miami 24

Week 10

Los Angeles Rams at New York (-4) Analysis: I really don’t need to get into a whole lot of statistical information, like the fact that Los Angeles lost five of their final six road games while going 1-4-1 ATS during the stretch. All I really need to say is that New York’s Todd Bowles can coach circles around Rams’ head coach Jeff Fisher and will prove just that by leading New York to the outright win and narrow ATS cover. The Jets went 3-0 SU and ATS over their last three home games last season while winning five of their final six home games outright. The Pick: New York 27 Los Angeles 21

Week 12

New England Patriots (-2.5) at New York Analysis: Sure, the New England Patriots are perennial Super Bowl title contenders, not to mention four-time winners in the Brady-Belichick era, but for some reason, the New York Jets give them the hardest way to go, no matter who’s coaching them apparently. The J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets, split their two regular season meetings against the Pats last season, winning 26-20 as a 2.5-point home underdog and has posted a nearly perfect 5-0-1 ATS mark in their last six matchups against New England. Somehow, someway, the Jets cover the spread in a stunner. The Pick: New England 23 New York 21

Week 14

New York Jets at San Francisco 49ers (PK) Analysis: I’m going with the age-old adage that good defense beats good offense in this Week 14 inter-conference clash. San Francisco will try to unleash an aerial attack under new head coach Chip Kelly, but I like Todd Bowles’ defensive prowess to overcome his counterpart in this late-season showdown and get some revenge for his loss to Kelly early last season when he was still with Philadelphia. The Pick: New York 20 San Francisco 17
