Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 16, at Los Angeles Rams, 4:05 PM ET
I like Arizona’s hiring of Steve Wilks as their new head coach and I love the Cardinals’ drafting of quarterback Josh Rosen as their future franchise quarterback following what should be a one-year run under veteran Sam Bradford, there’s no way Arizona will be able to beat a Los Angeles Rams team that is absolutely loaded on both sides of the ball and gearing up for a legitimate Super Bowl run following their stupendous worst to first 11-5 campaign last season. Arizona is going down in this contest by at least a touchdown!

Week 5: Sunday, Oct. 7, at San Francisco 49ers, 4:25 PM ET
The San Francisco 49ers may have gone just 6-10 last season, but they’ll enter 2018 with some high hopes under new franchise quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo after the former New England Patriots backup won all five games he started to finish off their 2017 campaign last season. Arizona will still be in their early learning stages under Wilks defensively and with Sam Bradford’s bones as brittle as peanut brittle, who knows if he’ll even be healthy enough to make this start. The Niners win this NFC West divisional matchup with room to spare!

Week 6: Sunday, Oct. 14, at Minnesota Vikings, 1 PM ET
The Cardinals will be much more in tune with how their new head coach wants them to play by this juncture, but they won’t be any match for a Minnesota Vikings team that has the best defense in the game today and is expecting to contend for a Super Bowl berth after coming up one game short this past postseason. If Sam Bradford isn’t on the bench with an injury by this point, he could go down like the Dow Jones following another Trump tariff announcement in this one.

Week 13: Sunday, Dec. 2, at Green Bay Packers, 1 PM ET
Look, there’s no way that Arizona is going into Green Bay in the month of December to beat Aaron Rodgers and a Packers team that will almost surely be be semi-desperate and almost certainly playing their best football at this late juncture of the regular season. Green Bay wins because they have Aaron Rodgers and no one really beats the Packers at home once November rolls around.

The Cards will be looking for revenge in this one, but they won’t get it against a Rams team that is far superior to them on both sides of the ball and one that will be looking to pick up some momentum prior to the start of the postseason. The Rams will win this one going away to complete their regular season sweep!
