Baltimore Ravens 2017 NFL Betting Guide & Predictions

Written by on June 23, 2017

After missing out on reaching the postseason for the second straight season and third time in the last four years, ‘play time’ is over for Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens as they get set for the 2017 NFL regular season. With Baltimore going all-out to get back into the playoffs, my expert NFL betting look at their top six ‘must-bet’ matchups on their 2017 schedule will give you the insight you’ll need in order to maximize your chances of cashing in on the Ravens at least six times this coming season. Now, let’s get started.

Here Is A Closer Look At The Baltimore Ravens 2017 NFL Betting Guide & Predictions

Week 2

Browns at Ravens (-9.5)  Analysis: The Ravens swept the Browns in the regular season a year ago, winning 25-20 in Week 2 to narrowly cover the spread as a 4-point road favorite before beating the Browns again 28-7 in Week 10 to cover the NFL betting line as a 7.5-point home favorite. The Ravens win this Week 2 matchup and cover the spread with room to spare as I suspect their seventh-ranked defense to harass whoever starts under center for Cleveland. Pick: Ravens 28 Browns 14

Week 3

Ravens (-1.5) at Jaguars in London Analysis: The Ravens beat the Jaguars 19-17 in Week 3 last season but narrowly failed to cover the NFL betting line as a 2.5-point road favorite. Baltimore will get another win over Jacksonville when they hook up in London, mostly because Jacksonville quarterback Blake Bortles puts the ‘M’ in mediocre! Pick: Ravens 27 Jaguars 21

Week 4

Steelers (-1.5) at Ravens Analysis: The Ravens and Steelers split their regular season series with both AFC North rivals winning at home, (although Baltimore did go 2-0 ATS). Expect these two arch enemies to split again. Baltimore holds it down against Pittsburgh in Week 4 as a surprising home underdog. Pick: Ravens 27 Pittsburgh 23

Week 5

Ravens at Raiders (-4.5) Analysis: The Ravens addressed some of their needs in a nice way this offseason, but they still won;t have enough offense to keep up with the explosive and blossoming Oakland Raiders in this Week 5 affair. Oh…did I forget to mention that Oakland’s Derek Carr is now better than Baltimore’s Joe Flacco? Pick: Raiders 31 Ravens 24 NFL Betting - Dolphins at Ravens (-3)

Week 8

Dolphins at Ravens (-3) Analysis: The Miami Dolphins may have won 10 games last season, but I still don’t believe in quarterback Ryan Tannehill and would pick Baltimore’s Joe Flacco over him every day of the week. This game should be a thriller, but with the Ravens playing at home, I say they get the win in a classic field goal contest. Pick: Ravens 24 Dolphins 21

Week 11

Ravens at Packers (-7) Analysis: Much like their matchups against the Steelers and Raiders, Baltimore simply won’t be able to score enough points in order to keep up with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, especially not on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. Green Bay scored 99 more points last season than Baltimore did and that difference in scoring ability will show in this contest, although I do like Baltimore to cover the high spread. Pick: Packers 27 Ravens 21
