Riddick already has a role as the third-down and two-minute back and could see an increase in overall snaps, particularly if Detroit were trailing in a game. He never has been a consistent rusher, but he is averaging 3.33 yards a rush and has 41 catches for 264 yards this year. Blount is averaging 2.35 yards per carry this season.
Starting WR Marvin Jones remains “week to week” with a bone bruise on his knee. He didn’t play Sunday.

Allen Robinson caught six passes for 133 yards and two TDs. Khalil Mack had two of Chicago’s six sacks against Matthew Stafford. Bryce Callahan had a sack and an interception. The Bears won their fourth straight game Sunday, 25-20 over the Vikings but it might have been costly to Mitch Trubisky. He completed 20-of-31 passes for 165 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. He also threw a pair of two-point conversions. Trubisky remained a threat in the run game, rushing for 43 yards on 10 carries. His only touchdown was 18-yard pass to a wide-open Anthony Miller in the end-zone. Jordan Howard had 18 carries for 63 yards. Tarik Cohen rushed seven times for 27 yards and caught 3-of-4 targets for 23 yards. As for Trubisky, he apparently injured his throwing shoulder at some point, although it’s still more likely than not that he plays here. It’s believed the injury occurred on a late hit by Minnesota safety Harrison Smith near the end of the fourth quarter. Over Chicago’s past six games, Trubisky has 2,832 yards of total offense and has accounted for 23 touchdowns to go along with three two-point conversions. While Coach Matt Nagy ruled out a long-term injury, the coach said Trubisky is “in pain” and unlikely to practice at all this week. Trubisky looks legitimately questionable at this point. Chase Daniel is the backup in Chicago.
