It seems like every week a new NFL star goes down to a season-ending injury. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case for NFL Week 10. We’ll have detailed previews of every Week 10 here at MyBookie, but here’s a glance at two very interesting matchups that are must-bet and their NFL odds: Texans-Rams and Vikings-Redskins.

Houston at LA Rams NFL Week 10 Odds & Game Info

Why Bet On Houston?

It’s such a shame that we won’t get to see Deshaun Watson against Jared Goff; of course, Houston lost their rising superstar QB last week to a torn ACL in practice. Things didn’t go well under backup Tom Savage on Sunday as Houston was upset at home by a bad Colts team, 20-14. Savage completed 19-of-44 passes for 219 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions, also committing a game-ending fumble. The touchdown was the first of Savage’s career. He now has one score through 149 attempts. Aside from that, Savage was terrible. Most of those yards came on the final two drives after the Texans’ offense did not score a point until there were 6 minutes, 11 seconds remaining in the game. Now a career 55 percent passer with a 5.83 YPA, Savage was bad enough that it’s fair to wonder if the Texans turn to T.J. Yates for Week 10. “It’s probably the most frustrating game of my life,” Savage said. “It’s just one of those deals that I just wasn’t making the throws and guys were open. There’s been some talk that the Texans might have interesting in Colin Kaepernick, but coach Bill O’Brien said he expects Savage to start Week 10 against the Rams. When asked if Kaepernick is a possibility, O’Brien replied: “I like the guys that we have and we’ll continue to try to coach them.”

Why Bet On LA Rams?

The Rams are a completely different team from last season when they were last in scoring. They are near the lead in the NFL this year and ALREADY have scored more points than they did in all of 2016. On Sunday, the Rams defeated the New York Giants 51-17 and recorded the team’s third victory of at least 30 points this season. The Rams are the 11th team in the Super Bowl era to post at least three wins with a margin of victory of 30+ points in the team’s first eight games of a season. Of the previous 10 teams in the Super Bowl era to accomplish the feat, seven advanced to the Super Bowl (70 percent). When Robert Woods scored a 52-yard touchdown off a screen pass on third-and-33 vs. New York, it gave the Rams 229 points in the second quarter of their eighth game this season. The Rams scored an NFL-worst 224 points in 16 games last season while finishing 4-12. They now have 263 points this season, which trails only the Philadelphia Eagles (283). When Sammy Watkins followed with a 67-yard touchdown catch — on a throw completed 54 yards beyond the line of scrimmage, making it the deepest completion of Jared Goff’s career — it gave the Rams 24 touchdowns this season, matching last year’s total. They now have 27 touchdowns, third most in the NFL. The Rams have scored 40-plus points three times this season. By comparison, they scored 40-plus points only two times in the previous 10 seasons combined.

Minnesota at Washington NFL Week 10 Odds & Game Info

When: Sunday, 1 PM ET Where: FedEx Field, Landover TV: Fox Radio: KFXN-FM 100.3 (Minnesota) / WTEM 980 AM (Washington) Stream Option: DirecTV to Go Opening NFL Lines: Vikings -1

Why Bet On Minnesota?

The Vikings come off their bye week on a four-game winning streak and atop the NFC North. They also are planning to activate former starting QB Teddy Bridgewater, although the team is expected to stick with Case Keenum as the starter. When Bridgewater is activated it will mark the first time he will be active for a game since suffering a severe knee injury in August 2016. Are the Vikings a safe bet in NFL Week 10? If he’s not moved to the active roster this week, Bridgewater’s contract will toll for a year, prompting an inevitable grievance from Bridgewater challenging the decision to not declare him ready to play and, in turn, ready to hit the market in March, barring a new deal. Keenum has started six games and played in seven total contests this season after signing with the Vikings as a free agent this offseason. Keenum has completed 149 of 233 passes (63.9 percent) for 1,610 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions. He has a passer rating of 88.8.

Why Bet On Washington?

The Skins got a late TD in Seattle on Sunday to upset the Seahawks. Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins led his team on a late, game-winning drive Sunday. He completed 21 of 31 passes for 247 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. His passer rating was 91.7. Cousins ranks seventh in the NFL with 2,147 yards and has thrown for 13 touchdowns with four picks. Tight end Vernon Davis led Washington with six receptions for 72 yards on Sunday. Wide receiver Josh Doctson had three catches for 59 yards, and Brian Quick had three receptions for 49 yards. Chris Thompson is a threat out of the backfield who leads the team in catches (35) and yards (453). He is tied with Doctson for the most touchdown catches with three. Davis has 384 receiving yards. Coach Jay Gruden said he’s not sure how many injured offensive linemen will return this week. He said G Brandon Scherff (knee) will do more in individual this week, as will backup T Ty Nsekhe. LT Trent Williams (knee) remains a pain tolerance issue. G Shawn Lauvao (stinger) has increased his range of motion and is regaining strength. Tight end Jordan Reed and receiver Jamison Crowder, both of whom missed Sunday with hamstring injuries, are “improving” but considered day to day. Receiver Brian Quick is in the concussion protocol. TE Davis’ bruised hand should be OK. The Vikings are 12-13 all-time against Washington. The teams have split 20 regular-season matchups at 10 games apiece, but the Vikings are 2-3 against Washington in the postseason. Minnesota has had the upper hand of late, winning seven of the past 11 meetings, including two of the last three.
