Betting Advice for the 2018 NFL Wildcard Round

Saturday NFL Wildcard Round

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans

  • ATS Odds: Texans -2 ½
  • Over/Under Total Odds: 47 ½
  • Moneyline Odds: Texans -135

Indianapolis dominated the Tennessee Titans 33-17 in Week 17. The Colts just battled the Houston Texans on Dec. 9. As a +4 underdog on the road, they came up huge, beating Houston 24-21. Andrew Luck was fantastic in that game, throwing for 399 yards and tossing 2 touchdowns.

The key for Houston is to get off to a strong start, but the Colts have been playing great defense since Nov. 18 when they beat Tennessee 38-10. Indianapolis finished the season winning 7-of-8. The Colts should win this one on the moneyline.

2018 NFL Wildcard Pick: Colts +115

Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys

  • ATS Odds: Cowboys -2 ½
  • Over/Under Total Odds: 42 ½
  • Moneyline Odds: Cowboys -140
The Dallas Cowboys showed a ton of grit in Week 17 to beat the New York Giants 36-35. The Cowboys should bring a ton of momentum into this battle with the Seattle Seahawks in the first NFC Wildcard Round game.

Seattle matches up well with the Cowboys, though. The Seahawks are the top rushing team in the NFL, averaging 160 yards per. Unless the Cowboys can get their defense back to playing the way it was before the last 3 weeks of the season, Seattle should win this one on the moneyline.

It helps the Seahawks’ cause that Russell Wilson’s their quarterback.

2018 NFL Wildcard Pick: Seahawks +120

Sunday NFL Wildcard Round

Are the Ravens a safe bet in the NFL Wild Card round?

L.A. Chargers at Baltimore Ravens

  • ATS Odds: Ravens -2 ½
  • Over/Under Total Odds: 42
  • Moneyline Odds: Ravens -145

The L.A. Chargers beat Denver in Week 17, but because the Chiefs beat the Raiders, the Chargers are the fifth seed in the AFC Playoffs. Los Angeles is already getting a ton of love from NFL bettors. But, it’s hard to see why.

In Week 16, the Ravens beat the Chargers 22-10. That was a Chargers home game. Now, L.A. must travel to Baltimore to battle a team that obviously understands how best to shut them down. The Ravens should cover.

2018 NFL Wildcard Pick: Ravens -2 ½

Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears

  • ATS Odds: Bears -5 ½
  • Over/Under Total Odds: 41 ½
  • Moneyline Odds: Bears -250

Philadelphia marches to Soldier Field to take on the Bears after providing their most complete game in NFL Week 17. It all came together in Philadelphia’s masterful 24-0 destruction of Washington. The win propelled them to the playoffs because the Bears beat the Vikings.

Chicago has been as hot as any team in the NFL heading into the postseason. The Bears face a difficult task against Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles and a surging Eagles’ defense. Chicago should win, but it’s hard to see the Bears beating the Eagles by more than a field goal.

2018 NFL Wildcard Pick: Eagles +5 ½
