The Seahawks and Cardinals will meet for the 37th time, with the Cardinals holding a 18-17-1 series advantage. Arizona wide receiver J.J. Nelson had 132 receiving yards, including an 80-yard touchdown catch, and kicker Chandler Catanzaro converted the game-winning 43-yard field goal with no time remaining in the Cardinals’ 34-31 victory in their last meeting (December 24, 2016). In their last meeting in the desert, it was a crazy 6-6 tie, the lowest scoring overtime tie game in league history and the first without a TD a scored since sudden-death OT began in 1974. Both kickers missed easily field goals late in overtime. Arizona dominated statistically overall.

Why Bet On Seattle’s NFL Spread?

Seattle looks to rebound following a 17-14 loss to Washington in Week 9. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson passed for 297 yards with two touchdowns and added 77 yards rushing last week and linebacker Bobby Wagner had 12 tackles and recorded a safety. Defensive end Dwight Freeney, who signed with Seattle prior to Week 8, has three sacks in his first two games with the Seahawks. The Seahawks hugely outgained Washington but had 16 penalties, two turnovers and Blair Walsh  missed three field goals. Coach Pete Carroll said the Seahawks will not bring in another kicker this week, though. Walsh missed wide left on his three first-half attempts Sunday, from 44, 39 and 49 yards out. The Seahawks signed Walsh to a one-year deal last offseason and allowed Stephen Hauschka to leave in free agency. Walsh was released midway through last season by the Minnesota Vikings, who had lost confidence in him. When Seattle took over for a final possession, Wilson’s Hail Mary from Washington’s 46-yard line fell incomplete in the end zone. Carroll said he would’ve attempted a field goal had Seattle gotten in range. Carroll also said the Seahawks are still not certain of the extent of the groin strain that knocked running back Eddie Lacy out of Sunday’s game. Free safety Earl Thomas (hamstring) and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson (oblique), who didn’t play Sunday, are also uncertain for Thursday night’s game against the Cardinals in Arizona.

Why Bet On Arizona’s NFL Spread?

The Cards have alternated losses and wins all season and thus are due to lose here as they won in San Francisco 20-10 on Sunday in their first full game playing without injured starting QB Carson Palmer. The Cardinals enter Week 10 following a 20-10 victory at San Francisco. Adrian Peterson carried a career-high 37 times for 159 yards and Drew Stanton threw two touchdown passes. The Cardinals had a penchant for running to the left against the 49ers. They ran 23 of their 40 run plays to the left of center, according to Pro Football Focus. Of their 167 rushing yards, 122 were gained behind the left side of the offensive line. When he ran left, Peterson was able to break runs of 16, 18 and 25 yards. Peterson forced eight missed tackles and ran for 110 of his 159 yards after contact. His 37 carries were the most ever for a player at least 32 years old.  But the question this week will be how quickly Peterson can get his body back so he can handle that type of workload again, which could be particularly challenging with a quick turnaround. Arizona knows it can’t give him that hefty of a workload on a short week. Are the Cardinals a safe bet in NFL odds for Week 10? WR Larry Fitzgerald, who led the team with 70 receiving yards in Week 9, has 14,953 career receiving yards and surpassed Tim Brown (14,934) for the sixth-most receiving yards in NFL history. Cardinals linebacker Chandler Jones had a sack last week and ranks fourth in the NFL with nine sacks in 2017. Arizona linebacker Karlos Dansby, who had a sack and an interception in Week 9, is one of five players with at least 40 career sacks (43) and 20 interceptions (20) since the individual sack became an official statistic in 1982.
