Bold NFL Betting Predictions for the Last Weeks of 2017 Regular season

Written by on December 8, 2017

With the 2017 NFL regular season heading into its stretch run portion and teams in both conferences desperate to either hold on to or improve their respective playoff hopes, now is a perfect time for some bold NFL betting predictions on just what will happen over the last few weeks of the regular season, including the Week 14 betting action!

Bold NFL Betting Predictions for the Last Weeks of 2017 Regular season

Week 14: Washington at LA Chargers NFL Spread & Expert Prediction

AFC

Chargers Win AFC West

While I’m picking Philip Rivers and the Los Angeles Chargers to win the AFC West, my super sports knowledgeable brother Brandon Eric Williams is boldly picking Derek Carr and the Oakland Raiders to get it done. “The Raiders are the most talented team in the division – and the Kansas City Chiefs are completely done,” Williams said. I‘ve got Philip Rivers and the Bolts winning out from here on in at home against Washington, at Kansas City, at the New York Jets, and at home against the Raiders – and better yet – I’ve stopped calling them San Diego!

Baltimore Ravens Win Out!

The Ravens visit the Steelers this weekend, then hit the road to play the lowly Browns before finishing up at home against Indianapolis and Cincinnati. The road game this coming weekend at Pittsburgh will be difficult but at least they’re facing a Steelers team that will be without Juju Smith-Schuster and Ryan Shazier because of injuries. Every other game is more than winnable for Baltimore.

Tennessee Beats Jacksonville in Week 17 to Win AFC South

The Tennessee Titans have won six of their last seven games, even if they mostly have been ‘ugly’ wins. The Titans are on the road at Arizona and San Francisco in a pair of winnable games the next two weeks before coming home to face the explosive Rams and then closing out their regular season at home against Jacksonville. The Jags, for their part, host Seattle on Sunday (loss) and then Houston in Week 15 before hitting the road to take on Frisco and Tennessee. I like the Titans to win the division – and it may not even come down to their regular season finale.

AFC Playoff Picture

  • 1.Pittsburgh Steelers (10-2)
  • 2.New England Patriots (10-2)
  • 3.Tennessee Titans (8-4)
  • 4.Kansas City Chiefs (6-6)
  • 5.Jacksonville Jaguars (8-4)
  • 6.Baltimore Ravens (7-5)

In the Hunt

  • Los Angeles Chargers (6-6)

NFC

Green Bay Wins Out!

The Packers will beat the pitiful Browns this weekend to keep their playoff hopes alive and Aaron Rodgers will be back on the field for Green Bay’s Week 15 matchup at Carolina before coming back home to face Minnesota and finishing up at Detroit. Aaron Rodgers will be back soon, so keep the Packers in your NFL Betting options for the postseason.   I know the Packers are going to have their hands full on the road against the Panthers and at home against a Minnesota team that both, broke Rodgers’ collarbone and is playing extremely well, but for me, as long as Aaron Rodgers is under center, anything around the NFL Betting action is possible, even victories over two ‘superior teams’ in Carolina and Minnesota.

Seattle Wins NFC West

The Seattle Seahawks (8-4) are at Jacksonville (win) and then come home to host a Rams team they beat 16-10 in L.A. back in Week 5. After beating the Rams for the second time this season, Seattle then goes on the road to beat Dallas before finishing up at home with a win over the banged-up Cardinals. The Rams have a trio of difficult matchups and possible losses as they host Philadelphia this weekend before going on the road to face Seattle and then Tennessee. Of course, L.A. will almost assuredly blow San Francisco out in their regular season finale, but by then, Seattle will be in control of an NFC West division they trailed in virtually all season long.

Atlanta Gets Left Out of Postseason

The Falcons beat the Saints on Thursday night to give their playoff hopes a big boost and I think they’ll get past the struggling Bucs next weekend. But I’ve also got the Falcons finishing up with a pair of losses at New Orleans and at home against Carolina to get left on the outside looking in when playoffs time comes around, so erase them from your NFL betting options to win it all!

NFC Playoff Picture

  • 1.Minnesota Vikings (10-2)
  • 2.Philadelphia Eagles (10-2)
  • 3.Los Angeles Rams (9-3)
  • 4.New Orleans Saints (9-4)
  • 5.Seattle Seahawks (8-4)
  • 6.Carolina Panthers (8-5)

In the Hunt

  • Atlanta Falcons (8-5)
