Why Bet on Dallas’ NFL Lines?

The Cowboys have won two consecutive games, including last week’s 30-10 victory at the New York Giants. Running back Rod Smith had an 81-yard touchdown catch and 15-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter against the Giants, becoming the first player in NFL history to record an 80+ yard touchdown reception and a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter of a single game. For the third time this season, Dez Bryant has scored a receiving touchdown in two straight games as he hauled in a 50-yard score last week against the Giants after a jump-ball TD vs. Washington to previous game. However, it’s been three years since Bryant has scored a touchdown in three straight games. QB Dak Prescott is on pace to post his second consecutive 3,000-plus yard passing season as he enters this week with 2,752 yards, completing 252-of-399 attempts with 21 touchdowns for a passer rating of 91.6. Prescott has also recorded five rushing touchdowns this season. With RB Ezekiel Elliott suspended, the Cowboys have turned to sixth-year veteran RB Alfred Morris as their lead back. Morris has totaled 485 yards on 97 carries with one touchdown. This will be the finale of Elliott’s suspension. After tallying just a single sack in 2016, DE Lawrence has had a colossal 2017, as he already has 13.5 sacks. The Cowboys were able to get a 20-point road win against the Giants without some of their top defensive players, including tackle David Irving, who was held out with a concussion. He’s improving but might not play this week. The Cowboys are trying to manage players through the practice week to get them to play. Right tackle La’el Collins has not practiced in two weeks but he is expected to play Sunday at Oakland. The same goes for left tackle Tyron Smith.  LBs Sean Lee (hamstring) and Maliek Collins (foot) were limited this week, but they will be available against the Raiders. Cornerback Orlando Scandrick (back) might need more time to return from his transverse process fractures. If the Cowboys want to keep their playoff hopes alive, they’re going to have to do something they haven’t done since 1995: Win in Oakland. The Cowboys have been on the road this year, going 4-2 both straight-up and ATS. The Raiders have been lousy at covering the spread this year, going 4-8-1 ATS, which is tied for the fourth worst mark in the NFL.

Why Bet on Oakland’s NFL Lines?

The Las Vegas Raiders are seeking their third consecutive home victory and look to remain in the thick of the AFC playoff race by evening their record at 7-7. They Raiders saw their two-game winning streak end with last Sunday with a disappointing loss to the Chiefs, who jumped out to 26-0 lead before hanging on for the 26-15 win. Derek Carr threw for 211 yards on 24-of- 41 passing with one touchdown and two interceptions for a 60.1 quarterback rating. Marshawn Lynch led the team in rushing, recording seven carries for 61 yards and one touchdown. TE Jared Cook tallied five receptions for 75 yards and one touchdown to lead the team’s receivers. Carr has 2,942 passing yards and needs 58 yards to reach 3,000 passing yards for the fourth consecutive season. Carr needs two touchdown passes to reach 20 TDs for the fourth season in a row. Are the Raiders a safe bet in Week 15? The Raiders have done well against NFC teams lately, going 3-1 straight-up in their past four games. Both these are have actually been playing well in prime-time. Carr is 6-2 straight-up in his career at night while Dak Prescott is 8-2. Oakland has two of the NFL’s best sack artists lining up against them. Khalil Mack has 8.5 sacks, despite getting a ton of attention from opposing blocking schemes. The main beneficiary of that is Bruce Irvin, who lines up on the other side and has 7.5 sacks this season. The combo of Irvin and Mack is one of just two pairs in the NFL with more than seven sacks each. Since Week 12, Irvin has totaled five sacks, including two multi-sack games. Receiver Amari Cooper, who re-injured his sprained left ankle Sunday, is likely not going to play this week. Aside from a monster game vs. Kansas City in October when he caught 11 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns, the wide receiver has just 31 catches for 288 yards and three touchdowns in the other 11 games combined.

Expert Prediction & NFL Week 15 Pick

I’m buying up these NFL lines to 3.5 and taking Oakland – Raiders might win but shouldn’t lose by more than a field goal.
