We could all use a little jolt of excitement in the world of sports, and we should get a nice fix over the next few days, as the 2020 NFL draft is set to commence on Thursday, April 23. While it will look a little different this year, the draft will still encompass 7 rounds of picks between Thursday and Saturday. We thought it might be fun to put together a little primer of where each team picks, so let’s go and see who they might pick and their betting odds.
NFL Draft Order & Rounds For 2020
Arizona Cardinals – They will pick 8th overall before getting the 8th pick in the second round. The Cardinals will also have a pair of picks in the fourth round (8th and 25th), as well as picks in the sixth and seventh rounds.
Atlanta Falcons – Starting with the 16th overall pick, the Falcons have 5 picks through the first four rounds before getting their final pick in the seventh round.
Baltimore Ravens – They have a ton of picks coming, starting at 28th overall. They then have 2 picks in the second, third, and fourth rounds before rounding it out with picks in the fifth and seventh.
Buffalo Bills – No picks until the 22nd of the second round. They then have at least one pick in each of the remaining rounds, including 2 in the sixth.
Carolina Panthers – They start out by picking 7th overall, and they then have one pick in each round, with 2 in the fifth.
Chicago Bears – The Bears don’t pick until 11th in the second round, but they have 2 picks in that round, as well as 2 in the sixth and 2 in the seventh, with a fifth round pick wedged in between.
Cincinnati Bengals – They have the #1 pick in the draft, and then one in each of the other 6 rounds.
Cleveland Browns – They start with the 10th pick overall before getting 4 in the next 3 rounds, including 2 in the third. They also have picks in the sixth and seventh.
Dallas Cowboys – They will start by picking 17th overall, and they will then have 6 more picks, with 2 coming in the fifth.
Denver Broncos – The Broncos have 10 picks spread out across the 7 rounds, including 3 in the third. Their first pick is 15th overall.
Detroit Lions – The Lions pick 3rd overall, before having picks in all the remaining rounds, including 2 in the third and fifth.
Green Bay Packers – Green Bay starts with the 30th overall pick and have one in each round up until the sixth, where they have 3, as well as 2 in the seventh.
Houston Texans – The Texans don’t get a pick until 8th in the second, after which they have picks in the third, fourth, and fifth, as well as 3 in the seventh.
Indianapolis Colts – Another team with no pick in the first, but 2 in the second round, then third, fourth, fifth, and 2 in the sixth.
Jacksonville Jaguars – The Jags are loaded, including a pair of picks in the first round (9th and 20th). They have 10 more picks spread out over the other 6 rounds.
Kansas City Chiefs – The champs have just 5 picks, one in each of the first 5 rounds.
LA Chargers – The Chargers get a single pick in each round, starting with 5th overall in the first.
LA Rams – No picks in the first, the Rams have 2 in the second, 2 in the third, and 1 in the fourth, sixth, and seventh.
Las Vegas Raiders – LV have 2 in the first (12th and 19th), 3 in the third, and 1 in the fourth and fifth.
Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins are loaded on the front end with 3 picks (5th, 18th, and 26th) in the first round and 2 in the second. They have 9 more picks spread through the remaining 5 rounds.
Minnesota Vikings – Another team with 2 in the first (22nd and 29th), as well as 9 more picks through the remaining rounds.
New England Patriots – The Patriots pick 12th overall, and then have 11 more picks, including 3 in the third.
New Orleans Saints – Just 5 picks for the Saints. 24th in Round 1, then picks in the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth.
New York Giants – 4th pick overall, then one in each of the next 5 rounds before getting 4 in the seventh.
New York Jets – They have the 11th pick overall, followed by 7 more than includes 2 in the third and sixth rounds.
Philadelphia Eagles – 21st overall pick, and then picks in each of the next 5 rounds, with 3 in the fourth.
Pittsburgh Steelers – The Steelers do not pick until Round 2, then they have single picks in the third, sixth, and seventh, as well as 2 in the fourth.
Seattle Seahawks – Seattle starts with the 27th overall pick, then 2 in the second, 1 in the third, 2 in the fourth, and 1 in the sixth.
San Francisco 49ers – 2 picks in the first (13th and 31st), then nothing until the fifth (2), sixth, and seventh (2).
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – They start with the 14th pick overall and then 1 in each round thereafter.
Tennessee Titans – The 29th overall pick followed by picks in the second, third, and fifth, as well as 3 in the seventh.
Washington Redskins – Redskins get the 2nd overall pick, and then picks in the third, fourth (2), fifth, and seventh (2).
