While the Philadelphia Eagles finally got star quarterback Carson Wentz back after he tore his ACL late last season, the Birds had a tough time on their hands in their week 3 street brawl against revitalized Indianapolis. Despite being solid road underdogs in their NFL Week 3 AFC South matchup, Tennessee won its second straight game in another street brawl that was even uglier than Philadelphia’s.
Now, with the Eagles and Titans both looking to pick up another victory in their Week 4 Inter-Conference clash, let’s find out if Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans can hold down the fort against Carson Wentz and the visiting Eagles to either win outright or cover the chalk as a slight home underdog.

Why Bet On The Philadelphia Eagles?
Why should you bet on the Eagles in Week 4? Well, because they just got back franchise quarterback Carson Wentz last weekend, they’re the more talented team on both sides of the ball and head coach Doug Pederson has the advantage over Titans first-time head coach Mike Vrabel.
Philly picked up a hard-fought 20-16 home win over Indianapolis on Sunday as Wentz threw a touchdown pass on his first drive in nine months and Wendell Smallwood added a 4-yard rushing score to put the Birds up for good. Wentz completed 25 of 37 passes for 255 yards with one touchdown and one interception in his first game since tearing his ACL late last season.
“It was a long time coming,” Wentz said after playing his first game since he tore two ligaments in his left knee last Dec. 10. “It felt great.”
Smallwood added 56 rushing yards and one score on 10 carries and tight end Dallas Goedert added seven catches for 73 yards and another score. Wentz was sacked five times, scrambled three times and dove for a first down on one of his runs while showing no hint that he was once injured.
“It felt like riding a bike, get hit and pop back up again,” he said.

Why Bet On The Tennessee Titans?
Why should you bet on Tennessee to get the home upset? Well, there’s the fact that the Titans are playing at home and have won two straight after a season-opening loss against Miami. Marcus Mariota came off the bench against Jacksonville this past weekend to lead the Titans on three scoring drives including the game-winning drive in the fourth quarter to lead Tennessee to victory. First-year Titans coach Mike Vrabel gave Mariota a game ball in the locker room.
“He was fantastic,” Vrabel said. “He cares about this team immensely. He wants what’s best for this team. You saw him come in there, get us some first downs and give us a spark.”
Mariota completed 12 of 18 passes for 100 yards and ran for 51 more and the Titans held Jacksonville’s powerful rushing attack to just 87 yards.

Expert NFL Betting Analysis and Prediction
While Tennessee has won two straight and will be at home in this matchup, I’m going to advise you to back the Philadelphia Eagles to get the big road win and narrow ATS cover in this one. While Tennessee is statistically better than Philadelphia, the Eagles are the slightly better offense at this point and I believe they’re going to get better with each game that Carson Wentz plays.
The Eagles have more talent at the skill positions and they’ve got the better defense, although the Titans are giving up a couple of fewer points per game. Philadelphia has gone 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games against a team with a winning record, 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games following an SU win and 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games overall.
On the flip side of the coin, the Titans are just 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game, 5-13-1 ATS in their last 19 home games against a team with a winning road record and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in Week 4. I’m thinking the Birds get it done in an ugly affair!
