The New York Giants had a nightmare campaign in 2017 as longtime starting quarterback Eli Manning saw his lengthy string of starts come to an inexplicable end under former head coach Ben McAdoo, who had clearly lost control of the team by the time he decided to bench the now legendary Manning sibling.
Despite their failures a year ago, the G-Men enter 2018 with some legitimate hopes of getting back to being respectable at the very least with Manning back in the saddle and the most talented player in this year’s NFL Draft joining him in the backfield in former Penn State superstar running back Saquon Barkley.
Now, whether the G-Men can pull off a winning season or not remains to be seen, but make no mistake about it, The Giants will play a handful of must-see, must-bet matchups that no football fan or betting enthusiast should miss out on. Here’s my expert betting analysis on those contests!

30❓in 30 Days: who will be the most improved player from last season to 2018?

Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 9, vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, 1:00 PM ET
Former Giants head coach and now Jaguars VP of football operations Tom Coughlin will be back in the Big Apple to stick it to his former team in Week 1.
NFL Betting Pick: Jaguars 27 Giants 20
Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 16, at Dallas Cowboys, 8:20 PM ET
As much as I’d like to see the Giants beat the Cowboys in this Week 2 matchup, it’s just not happening. The Boys win to cover the chalk as a 6-point home fave!
NFL Betting Pick: Cowboys 28 Giants 21
Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 23, at Houston Texans, 1:00 PM ET
The G-Men are going down for the second straight week in the Lone Star State.
NFL Betting Pick: Texans 31 Giants 20
Week 4: Sunday, Sept. 30, vs. New Orleans Saints, 4:25 PM ET
Drew Brees and the Saints have some seriously legitimate Super Bowl hopes. The Giants…er…do not! New Orleans wins by 10, even on the road!
NFL Betting Pick: Saints 35 Giants 21
Week 5: Sunday, Oct. 7, at Carolina Panthers, 1:00 PM ET
Something tells me that this will be one of those crazy games the Panthers come up with at the most inopportune time. Still, the Panthers get the narrow home win.
NFL Betting Pick: Panthers 28 Giants 24
Week 6: Thursday, Oct. 11, vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 8:20 PM ET
The Giants suffered a pair of close losses against the defending Super Bowl champs last season and they’re going to suffer another pair in 2018. The Eagles have won seven of the last eight meetings these longtime NFC East rivals.
NFL Betting Pick: Eagles 30 Giants 23
Week 7: Monday, Oct. 22, at Atlanta Falcons, 8:15 PM ET
I mean…damn, the Giants just don’t have many easy games on their 2018 schedule. Matt Ryan and the Dirty Birds win at home in the dome!
NFL Betting Pick: Falcons 31 Giants 24
Week 8: Sunday, Oct. 28, vs. Washington Redskins, 1:00 PM ET
New York finally gets back in the win column after what I think will be seven straight losses to open the season.
NFL Betting Pick: Giants 30 Redskins 27
Week 11: Sunday, Nov. 18, vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1:00 PM ET
Pat Shurmur out-coaches counterpart Dirk Koetter and Eli Manning outplays Jameis Winston to lead the G-Men to the big home win!
NFL Betting Pick: Giants 28 Buccaneers 24
Week 12: Sunday, Nov. 25, at Philadelphia Eagles, 1:00 PM ET
Didn’t I just say the Eagles are getting the regular season sweep?
NFL Betting Pick: Eagles 35 Giants 24
Week 13: Sunday, Dec. 2, vs. Chicago Bears, 1:00 PM ET
The Giants win again at home against young quarterback Mitch (Call me Mitchell) Trubisky and first-year Bears head coach Matt Nagy!
NFL Betting Pick: Giants 28 Bears 21
Week 16: Dec. 22/23, at Indianapolis Colts, TBD
I like the Giants to close out their 2018 campaign with a big home win against Andrew Luck and a Colts team I think could be awful on the defensive side of the ball in 2018.
NFL Betting Pick: Giants 31 Colts 27
