NFL Week 6 Odds & Game Preview: NY Giants vs. Denver Broncos.

New York Giants Season Expert Predictions

Written by on August 30, 2016

Eli Manning, Odell Beckham Jr. and the rest of the New York Giants’ offensive players know how to score the ball. However, with a defense that gives up points like they’re going out of style, the big question surround the G-Men heading into 2016 is will they be able to stop anyone. If New York plays competent defense, they could win a mediocre NFC East. If they finish near the bottom in points allowed, it will be another year without a playoff appearance. Now, let’s find out what lies in store for the G-Men moving forward while checking the latest NFL betting odds.

New York Giants Season Expert Predictions

2016 Regular Season Win Total Odds

Over/Under 8.5 Wins Analysis: The New York Giants suffer road losses at Dallas, Minnesota, Green Bay, Pittsburgh and Washington while falling at home against Cincinnati and at least one other team like Baltimore, New Orleans or Detroit. I don’t believe I’m writing it, but I can see the G-Men reaching the nine-win mark in 2016.

NFC East Division Odds

+220 Analysis: The fact of the matter is that any team in the NFC East could very well win the division title. I picked Dallas to bag the division crown but that was before Tony Romo went down for 6-10 weeks. Right now, I think New York stands as good a chance of winning the NFC East as anyone, making them a value-packed pick at +220.

NFC Championship Odds

+1400 Analysis: While it’s possible the Giants could win their own division, I don’t think there’s any way New York can win the conference title over teams like Carolina, Seattle or Arizona. Save your money on this wager.

Super Bowl 51 Odds

+3000 Analysis: I know the Giants won two improbable Super Bowl titles, but I don’t think it’s realistic to think they can win another in their current state, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. I know New York’s +3000 return looks enticing, but it’s not happening this season people!
