NFL Week 11 SU Picks & Expert Analysis

Written by on November 17, 2020

As we head into Week 11 of the NFL season, we are seeing a couple of teams separate from the pack. Outside of the Chiefs and Steelers, though, things are beginning to tighten up across the board. There are a few dark horse teams beginning to emerge, too, with the Miami Dolphins suddenly becoming a team to keep an eye on. As we always say, though, there is still an awful lot of football to be played. Things are going to start getting frantic over the next few weeks, as this is the time when the playoff battles really begin to heat up. This will be the final set of games before the craziness that is Thanksgiving Day, so a few teams about to go on a short week. Let’s make out straight up picks for Week 11 right now so you can make your bets against their NFL odds.

NFL Betting | Straight-Up Picks for Week 11 of the 2020 Season

Cincinnati Bengals over Washington Football Team

With just 4 wins between them this season, neither of these teams is lighting things up in the NFL. That said, you have to say that one team has a brighter future than the other. While Washington have some serious issues at the QB position, it certainly seems as though the Bengals landed their franchise QB when they drafted Joe Burrow. Cincinnati now has something to build around, but the thumping they took at the hands of the Steelers last weekend tells you just how far they have to go to get competitive in what is a very good AFC North division. I think their strength at QB helps the Bengals this weekend, but you also have to like the fact that they are 4-1-1 SU in their last 6 meetings with Washington.

Cleveland Browns over Philadelphia Eagles

A team sitting on 3 wins at this stage of the season is generally already looking ahead to next year, but the weakness of the NFC East means that the Philadelphia Eagles are currently in a playoff spot. At 3-5-1, they have been far from convincing and now need to be concerned with a New York Giants team that is suddenly starting to pick up wins. Things do not get any easier for the Eagles this weekend, as they will be on the road to face a Cleveland Browns team that is vey much in the playoff picture at 6-3. The Browns are coming off a rather unconvincing win in Week 10, but given their history, they will take a win any way they can get it. Week 11 has not been good to the Eagles, as they are just 1-5 SU in their last 6 games played in that week.

Green Bay Packers over Indianapolis Colts

This is arguably one of the better games on the Week 11 schedule, as it features a pair of teams who look likely to be in the playoffs this season. The Green Bay Packers are back to winning ways after a little bit of a stumble, winning 2 in a row to get to 7-2 on the season, which gives them a fairly comfortable lead in the NFC North. The Colts, meanwhile, find themselves on top of the AFC South at 6-3, but they are on the same record as the Tennessee Titans, so much tighter there. Despite now having won 13 of their last 16 games, the Packers are in as a slight underdog here. They have failed to win in their last 5 visits to Indianapolis, but I think they snap out of that and get the win this weekend.
