Minnesota (-1.5) at Philadelphia

The Eagles were limited to seven wins in Chip Kelly’s final season and look like a team that will be fortunate to finish right around that mark in 2016 in new head coach Doug Pederson’s first season. The Minnesota Vikings won 11 games en route to the NFC North division crown and want to take another step forward after making a one-and-done postseason appearance. Wit the Vikes winning five of their last six road games and covering the spread in seven straight road games and nine of their L/10 road dates overall, the Vikings and the suffocating defense are the easy pick to cover the NFL online betting odds. The Pick: Minnesota 28 Philadelphia 21

Indianapolis (-3.5) at Tennessee

The Colts have won four straight and six of their last seven road dates against their AFC South division rivals and I see absolutely no reason why Indy won’t crush the Titans in this affair with starting quarterback Andrew Luck back under center after an injury-riddled 2015 season. I like the Colts in a fairly high-scoring affair. The Pick: Indianapolis 31 Tennessee 24

Buffalo at Miami (-1)

The Miami Dolphins have lost two of their last three home games against the Buffalo Bills including their humbling 41-14 home smackdown loss at the hands of their longtime AFC East division rivals a year ago. Miami had lost two straight home games and three of four before beating New England 20-10 in their meaningless finale last season, so I don’t have a whole lot of confidence that Miami can bring home the bacon in this affair. Still, with the Bills going 0-4 SU and ATS in their final four road games last season, I say the Dolphins are the right pick to get the narrow win and cover. The Pick: Miami 23 Buffalo 21

Seattle at Arizona (-1)

The Arizona Cardinals may be elite Super Bowl 51 title contenders, but they have the hardest time beating the Seattle Seahawks whenever they meet. The Cards have lost tree of four against Seattle dating back to 2014 and got crushed in their 36-6 home loss in January after beating the Seahawks 39-32 in Seattle just a few weeks earlier. The Seahawks are my pick in this contest as I expect them to have a chip the size of Mount Rushmore on their collective shoulders this season after failing to reach Super Bowl 50 a year ago. Seattle has win six of its last seven road games and is 3-2 ATS in their last five road dates. The Pick: Seattle 28 Arizona 21 h3>Monday, October 24, 2016

Houston at Denver (-6.5)

I have no idea why the Denver Broncos are near touchdown favorites against a Houston Texans team that looks like it’s just as good as the Broncos on paper in my opinion. Denver has won five straight at home, but they no loner have either Peyton Manning or Brock Osweiler under center and are moving forward with mediocre veteran Mark Sanchez until rookie Paxton Lynch is ready. Speaking of Osweiler, he signed a huge offseason deal with the Texans to become their new starter and I believe he’ll do well for Bill O’Brien’s AFC South division winners. With Houston going 3-1 S an ATS in its last four road games a year ago, with Brian Hoyer under center no less, I say the Texans get the outright road win to complete my ‘High Five’ of top betting odds and free picks for Week 7 of the 2016 NFL regular season. The Pick: Houston 20 Denver 17
