This Friday, the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings play their final preseason game of the year. KC, as we might expect, looks ready for the season. The Vikings, though, must show they care to get onto the field and play hard. Why bet on Minnesota versus Kansas City
Both Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen are listed as questionable, but the rest of the starting offense isn’t. We should expect Minnesota to start quarterback Kirk Cousins and running back Dalvin Cook. This is the Vikings‘ final chance to get everyone on the same page. In a couple of preseason games, Minnesota has disappointed big time. The regular season is just about here, though, which means on Aug. 27, Mike Zimmer will turn the screws on his team.

Why bet on Kansas City against Minnesota
Even when Kansas City sits their starters, they can’t help but play hard and win football games. Patrick Mahomes barely played in either of KC’s two preseason games. But the Chiefs still managed to beat the 49ers 19-16 and the Cardinals 17-10. Quality teams like Kansas City have an attitude throughout the entire roster, not just with the starters. Even if Andy Reid plays his entire second and third team in this one, KC will have a shot.

Final Betting Analysis: Minnesota Vikings at Kansas City Chiefs
If you’re a Minnesota fan, you should be worried. The Vikings play a ridiculously difficult schedule this season, Cousins refuses to get the vaccine causing issues with his teammates, and the team doesn’t seem to have its mind on football.
Coach Zimmer decried the Vikings’ performance after the first preseason contest, a 6-33 loss to Denver. Minnesota played better in a 12-10 loss to Indianapolis on Aug. 21, but Minny isn’t close to being ready for the regular season.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs have gone about their routine, playing well, playing hard, and winning football games no matter who is on the field. Expect the same discipline and attention to detail from KC on Friday night even if Reid keeps Mahomes on the bench the entire game.
Kansas City is just better. Sometimes, talent even matters in an NFL Preseason match.
