Seattle Seahawks 2017 NFL Betting Analysis And Expert Predictions
The Seattle Seahawks have reached the playoffs in each of the last two seasons since suffering one of the most gut-wrenching postseason defeats of all-time in their 28-24 Super Bowl 49 loss to New England three years ago.
Now, whether Russell Wilson and company reach Super Bowl 52 or not this coming season, there are some must-bet matchups dotting Seattle’s 2017 schedule that no NFL betting enthusiast should miss out on. Here is a look at Seattle’s top six must-bet games this coming season.
Analyzing The Seattle Seahawks 2017 NFL Betting Analysis And Expert Predictions
Seahawks at Packers (-3)
Analysis: What could be better than a Week 1 matchup between the Seahawks and Packers after their unforgettable Fail Mary matchup and ensuing 2015 NFC title game clash? Unfortunately for Aaron Rodgers and company, I’m going with the Seahawks to get the Week 1 road win, mostly because I believe Seattle’s defense will be the deciding factor in a contest featuring two fairly evenly matched offenses. No matter who comes out on top, NFL betting fans and enthusiasts everywhere can likely expect another thriller.
Pick: Seattle 27 Green Bay 24
Seahawks (PK) at Giants
Analysis: The Seahawks have beaten the Giants in their two meetings since Russell Wilson became their starting quarterback in 2012 and I believe that trend will continue as Seattle’s defense harasses Eli Manning into a bad day at the office while stifling a New York rushing attack that may or may not even exist in 2017.
Pick: Seattle 27 New York 24
Texans at Seahawks (-7.5)
Analysis: I like the Houston Texans a lot and I believe they hit a home run by nabbing Deshaun Watson when the Bears and Chiefs passed on the former Clemson signal-caller in the first round. The revamped Texans won’t win in Seattle, but they will get the ATS cover because of their outstanding defense.
Pick: Seattle 21 Houston 17
Week 10 (Thursday)
Seahawks (-1.5) at Cardinals
Analysis: The Seahawks won’t lose many games in 2017, but this Week 10 NFC West divisional showdown will be one of them, seeing as how I’m expecting Arizona to be a lot better in 2017 than they were a year ago when they had their three-year run of winning double-digit games snapped.
Pick: Arizona 24 Seattle 21
Week 11 (Monday)
Falcons at Seahawks (-3)
Analysis: This Week 11 matchup will likely be a bigger test for the Falcons than Seattle, but it’s not one I see Matt Ryan and the reigning NFC champions passing. I’m thinking Seattle shuts down Atlanta’s high-powered offense and gets just enough offense from Russell Wilson and company to make a tough home win come through.
Pick: Seattle 31 Atlanta 28
Seahawks at Cowboys (-3)
Analysis: The Seahawks may be on the road in this Week 16 matchup, but I like them to largely contain Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott to get a meaningful road win against a Dallas Cowboys team whose defense will likely only be average at best in 2017.
