The first game of the Week 4 Monday night doubleheader features the winless Tennessee Titans at the one-win Miami Dolphins, who will give Tyler Huntley his first-ever start in a Fins uniform at quarterback.
Miami is a short favorite on the NFL odds.

Tennessee Titans +118
The Titans (0-3) haven’t scored more than 17 points in a game yet with second-year QB Will Levis really struggling. In last Sunday’s 30-14 home loss to Green Bay, he completed 26 of 34 passes for 260 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Levis put together by far his most competent performance of the season from an efficiency perspective by averaging 7.4 yards per attempt. He completed four passes of at least 20 yards — all to different receivers — half of which came before the game was decided, and he also recorded multiple touchdowns for the first time in the campaign. On the other hand, mistakes continue to plague him as he turned the ball over three total times, highlighted by a pick-six.
Will Levis
Levis now has a league-high eight turnovers through three games, the most by a quarterback in his team’s first three games over the past three years, Coach Brian Callahan committed to Levis as the starting quarterback moving forward. Veteran receiver DeAndre Hopkins scored his first touchdown of the season on an 11-yard pass from Levis. Hopkins also endorsed Levis going forward.
“Oh yeah,” Callahan said when asked about Levis as his starter. “We’ve also got to play better around him. I’m not going to overreact to an interception. Those things happen, guys throw picks, we just can’t give it to their team. It’s a killer. But we’ve not played a complete game in any phase at any point yet.”
So far this season, Levis has completed 64-of-94 passes for 578 yards and four touchdowns, but with five interceptions and three fumbles.
em>”Just continue to instill confidence in myself and others,” Levis said. “I think it’s easy to be in the ‘Woe is me’, like, ‘What am I doing wrong?’, like, ‘Am I not good enough?’, and you can never let that seep into your brain,” Levis said. “You have to come back and remind yourself of what kind of player you are, and what got you to this point.
Chidobe Awuzie
The Titans could be really short-handed defensively on Monday. This week, the team placed Chidobe Awuzie on Injured Reserve. Awuzie suffered a groin injury in Sunday’s contest against the Packers, and Callahan indicated it’s an injury that could sideline him for several weeks. Star defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons is doubtful and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed and safety Amani Hooker are questionable.
Defense
But if the Titans defense holds its opponent under 200 net passing yards for the fourth consecutive game, it will be the team’s first time doing so in each of the first four games of the season since 1986 (five games). Kicker Nick Folk enters with an all-time NFL-record streak of 78 consecutive field goals made on attempts from less than 40 yards.
DeAndre Hopkins
With 79 touchdown receptions entering the contest, Hopkins can become the 33rd player in NFL history to reach 80 career touchdown receptions. He also looks to extend his active streak to 166 consecutive games with a reception — every game he has played since he entered the NFL. Hopkins owns the third-longest such streak to begin a career in NFL history behind only Marvin Harrison (190 consecutive games) and Keyshawn Johnson (167).
WR DeAndre Hopkins (TEN): The old man Nuk had been written off by many. Now healthy and back to full strength, Hopkins led the Titans in targets (7), receptions (6) and yards (73). He also added a TD. He has good chemistry with Levis. Stock rising. pic.twitter.com/7ZKfLR4I0W

The Titans own a 26-19 all-time record on Monday Night Football, including nine wins in their past 12 appearances. Against the Dolphins, they are 3-0 in Monday night games.
^Miami Dolphins -145
With QB Tua Tagovailoa on injured reserve with yet another concussion, the Dolphins had to start former seventh-round pick Skylar Thompson under center last Sunday in Seattle and predictably got hammered 24-3. Thompson ended up leaving with a ribs injury and will only be the emergency third-string QB for this one. Recently signed Tyler Huntley will start and journeyman Tim Boyle, who relieved Thompson in Seattle, will be the No. 2.
Mike McDaniel
Why did Coach McDaniel make the decision to start Huntley? His elusiveness and escapability should be a plus. He has 115 rushing attempts for 509 yards (4.4 per carry) in his NFL career.
“One thing that has been supremely obvious to the team since he got here,” McDaniel said, “is that he started multiple and many big games, and as a quarterback, he understands exactly what is required to win over teammates, take the place of somebody else and assert their own personality and their own skill set and their own traits within the offense and lead people. The ability to make plays is a broad, overarching statement. You can do it in a multitude of ways. I’m expecting him to be comfortable making plays in various ways. I see him being able to utilize his skill sets within the framework of the offense.”Tyler Huntley
Huntley has gone 3-6 as an NFL starter, all filling in for Lamar Jackson for Baltimore, which signed him as an undrafted rookie out of Utah in 2020. In his career, he has eight touchdowns, seven interceptions and a 79.0 passer rating and completed 64 percent of his passes.
After leading the NFL in all kinds of explosive play metrics in 2023, including most plays of 10+ yards and 50+ yards, Miami has continued that trend in 2024 as the Dolphins lead the league entering Week 4 in most plays of 50+ yards (14) since 2023, while ranking second in plays of 10+ yards (295) and tied for third in plays of 25+ yards (50) in that span.
Injuries
The Fins will be without Pro Bowl offensive tackle Terron Armstead and cornerback Kendall Fuller. Injuries have plagued Armstead for much of his career and Monday will be the 12th game missed by the lineman since he joined the Dolphins in 2022. The options to replace him at left tackle are veteran Kendall Lamm and second-round rookie Patrick Paul. Fuller signed with Miami in the offseason after spending the last four seasons with the Commanders. He likely will be replaced by undrafted rookie Storm Duck and the team could also potentially slide nickel cornerback Kader Kohou outside.
Running back Raheem Mostert (chest), who is listed as questionable, “is trying” to be ready for the contest according to McDaniel. Mostert, who has missed the Dolphins’ last two games, logged limited practices this past week. If Mostert is unavailable, De’Von Achane, Jeff Wilson and Jaylen Wright would handle backfield duties against Tennessee.
A victory Monday would be Miami’s first win against Tennessee since Week 1 of the 2018 season, improve the Dolphins’ home record to 15-5 under McDaniel, also improve the team to 8-3 overall in September under McDaniel and be the franchise’s 498th overall regular-season win, putting it two wins away from becoming the 19th franchise in history to reach 500 overall. The Dolphins are 43-44 all-time on MNF. Miami’s six games with multiple receptions of 50+ yards are the most in the NFL since 2022.

Titans vs Dolphins Series History
Miami leads 21-19 all-time which includes when the Titans were the Houston Oilers. They played a wild game in Week 14 last year on a Monday night in Miami and the Titans won 28-27 despite trailing 27-13 with about three minutes left. It was the first win by a team down 14 with under three minutes left since 2016. Titans QB Will Levis went 23 of 38 with a touchdown pass and an interception. DeAndre Hopkins had seven catches for 124 yards. Miami played much of the game without star receiver Tyreek Hill, who sat out the second quarter and majority of the third after injuring his ankle in the first quarter.
