Washington at Cincinnati (-4)
The Redskins had a positive 2015 season by winning the NFC East, but I say…let’s not get ahead of ourselves as far as the Skins are concerned. Washington won a modest nine games and aren’t in the same caliber of Super Bowl 51 title contenders as Cincinnati (12-4) in my mind.
While Cincinnati has alternated SU wins and losses over their last five home games and Washington won their final three road dates, I like the Bengals to get the big home win by at least a touchdown n this contest. Cincinnati is 5-1 SU and 4-1-1 ATS in their last four games as a favorite of four points or less, making them the pick to cover the NFL betting line.
The Pick: Cincinnati 31 Washington 21
Seattle (-5) at New Orleans
The Seahawks have won six of their last seven road games while going 4-3 ATS along the way. The Saints lost three of their final four home games last season and have one of the most generous defenses in all of football. Russell and Seattle’s voracious defense will be to much for the Saints to overcome, even at home.
The Pick: Seattle 35 New Orleans 24
Philadelphia at Dallas (-3.5)
While the Dallas Cowboys have lost three straight home games against the Philadelphia Eagles and five of their last six home dates against the Birds overall, I like them to snap that streak by getting a big home win against their NFC East division rivals in this Week 8 matchup. After losing their last seven home games in 2015, I expect the Cowboys to take care of business at Jerry World in 2016. The Boys get the win and narrow ATS cover against their longtime adversaries.
The Pick: Dallas 28 Philadelphia 24

Minnesota (-2.5) at Chicago
The Chicago Bears had their seven-game home winning streak against the Vikings snapped a year ago in their 23-20 loss in the Windy City and I think Minnesota is going to make it two straight by taking down their longtime NFC North division rivals. Adrian Peterson and company have won five of their last six road games while covering the spread in seven straight road games and nine of their last 10 road games overall. Minnesota wins and covers to close out my Week 8 NFL betting picks.
The Pick: Minnesota 24 Chicago 20
