NFL Updated Comeback Player of the Year Betting Odds

Each season, the NFL awards a deserving player with the “Comeback Player of the Year” award. This is a player who missed a significant amount of time or the whole season the previous year due to injury or other circumstances.

The odds have been set for the winner of the 2021 award. The list of players who could win the award is stacked with many NFL superstars. Let’s take a look at the NFL Specials Props for some of the players who could win the 2021 NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award.

NFL – Comeback player of the year odds

Dak Prescott +175

Prescott missed a majority of last season with a leg injury that required major surgery. Although he has missed some time in training camp, all signs point to Prescott being ready for the regular season. With a loaded arsenal of weapons, we could see him putting up some huge numbers this season.

Saquon Barkley +600

When Barkley tore his ACL early last season, he vowed to come back even stronger in 2021. The Giants have made upgrades to their offensive line to help Barkley out. We could see a steady diet of Barkley throughout the season. He originally wasn’t going to be ready to play until Week 2 or Week 3, but now it looks like he should be ready for Week 1.

Joe Burrow +600

Burrow was having a great rookie season until he was sidelined by a torn ACL. Burrow has worked hard to get back into form for this season. The Bengals drafted his former LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase to help their strong group of receivers. If the offensive line can give Burrow time, he should have another good season.

Christian McCaffrey +600

McCaffrey missed a good portion of last season with different injuries. He looks primed and ready to try to gain 2000 all-purpose yards this season. The Panthers have improved their offensive line, and Sam Darnold should be an upgrade at the quarterback position. If McCaffrey can stay healthy, he should put up some huge numbers this season.

Nick Bosa +700

Not having Bosa really hurt the San Francisco 49ers last season. Bosa is one of the top pass rushers in the league, and he should be primed and ready to wreak havoc this season. The 49ers should have one of the top defenses in the league, and Bosa should anchor the defensive line. If he returns to form, he should have double-digit sack totals this season.

Carson Wentz +900

Frank Reich was Wentz’s offensive coordinator during his most successful times in Philadelphia. Wentz is hoping to regain that magic with Reich in Indianapolis. Even though Wentz underwent surgery to repair a break in his foot, he should be ready for Week 1 or Week 2.

Sam Darnold +1600

Darnold couldn’t wait to get out of New York. His time with the Jets was riddled with injuries, illness, and he was hurt by poor coaching and a lack of playmakers. Now that he’s in Carolina, he has a good coach and a very good group of skill players. We’ll see if it was New York that was hurting Darnold or if Darnold just isn’t as good as projected.
