Besides their stunning Week 3 loss against Philly, Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers have the clear-cut look of a legitimate Super Bowl contender. The Packers (2-1) will have their work cut out in beating out Minnesota for the NFC North division title, but the fact of the matter is that any time you have a quarterback like Aaron Rodgers, you’re going to have a legitimate shot. Things weren’t looking good at all for the Vikings when they lost teddy Bridgewater before the start of the season, but right now, they look better than ever under the direction of Sam Bradford of all people. Minnesota might have the league’s best defense (sorry Denver) and now, they have a potent passing attack that will give more balance to their offense. Make no mistake about it….the Vikings are downright scary right now!Denver Broncos – 20/1 – 12/1
It’s almost laughable to think the Broncos were the eight-best favorite to win Super Bowl 51, but then again, no one saw the rise of Trevor Siemian coming, although looking back, it seems foolish to not to have expected Denver to be super-elite defensively for the second straight season.Legitimate Contenders
Philadelphia Eagles
At 3-0, the Birds are off to a fantastic start this season. More importantly, they’ve found what looks like a sure-fire superstar in rookie quarterback Carson Wentz and have turned their defense into one of the most aggressive units in the league under the direction of former Lions head coach and current coordinator Jim Schwartz. Dallas Cowboys Like Philadelphia, Dallas found out they have a future star at quarterback in fourth round pick Dak Prescott, a player that now, clearly should have been picked in the first round. Not only do the ‘Boys have a budding star in Prescott, but I believe they have a future Hall of Fame running back in Ezekiel Elliott. The future looks extremely bright in Dallas – but I’m expecting Jerry Jones to blow it by reinserting aging and completely brittle veteran Tony Romo as the starter at quarterback once he’s healthy enough to return from his latest injury. Atlanta Falcons The Falcons have the No. 1 offense in the league right now and I believe they’ll remain one of the most potent teams in the league all season long. In Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman, the Falcons have a trio as good as anyone’s. If Atlanta can improve defensively, not only could they reach the postseason, but they could make an extended run in the playoffs.| Team | Odds |
