Today we’ll take a look at the Washington Football Team schedule, their NFL odds, and more for the 2021-22 season.
NFL Betting – Washington Football Team Calendar Odds & Analysis For the 2021-22 Season
Washington: 2020 Season Recap
Washington has to be pleased with their 2020 season, despite finishing at 7-9. Washington was the best of the worst in the NFC East, winning the division and hosting a playoff game.
They kept it mildly competitive in the Wild Card round, losing to the eventual Super Bowl champion Buccaneers, 31-23.
Washington’s 2020 success started on the defensive side of the ball. The team was ranked inside the top ten defensively off the back of a dominant defensive line. This is the core of much to come and why Washington should remain competitive moving forward.
Washington had a turnstile at the quarterback position all season and have attempted to remedy it by signing journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick to start this season. Fitzpatrick is coming off one of his best seasons, even at the age of 38.

Washington: 2021 Schedule
Going in Washington’s favor in 2021 is their inclusion in the dreadful NFC East. By far the worst division in football last season, six games inside the division is always going to buy your chances of winning games.
The team does draw some moderately tough divisions in the AFC West and NFC South. For starters, the two participants from this past Super Bowl are on the schedule, along with a few up-and-coming teams, like the Chargers and Broncos.
While winning the division does get you into the playoffs, it also brings with it a tougher schedule the following season. Washington will play Seattle, Green Bay, and Buffalo in 2021.
The teams on Washington’s schedule:
- Dallas Cowboys (x2)
- New York Giants (x2)
- Philadelphia Eagles (x2)
- New Orleans Saints
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Carolina Panthers
- Atlanta Falcons
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Las Vegas Raiders
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Denver Broncos
- Seattle Seahawks
- Green Bay Packers
- Buffalo Bills
2021 Season Prediction
Washington has a tough schedule outside of the NFC East. Still, this is a better team than a 7-9 record indicates.
Chase Young leads a defensive line that is arguably the best unit in all of football. If you can get to the quarterback, you can blow up a team’s game plan, and Washington should have no issues doing that.
They have intriguing pieces on the offensive end in Terry McLaurin, Antonio Gibson, and newcomer Curtis Samuel.
Fitzpatrick should bring consistency to the quarterback position as well. Look out for Washington in 2021.
Consider betting them to win the NFC East on MyBookie, +210 is strong odds for a team of this caliber.
