NFL Week 11 Must Bet Games – 2018 Season

Written by on July 25, 2018

When it comes to the NFL Week 11 of 2018 season, there are a handful of highly intriguing matchups that all have the look of must-see matchups that will leave football fans tilting on the edges of their respective seats or glued to their televisions, no matter which terminology you prefer. The Seattle Seahawks host the Green Bay Packers in a matchup that has produced an ‘Instant Classic’ the last few times the virtually perennial playoff participants have met. The New Orleans Saints host the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in a meeting of expected title contenders this coming season and the Pittsburgh Steelers will be looking to extract some revenge for their pair of crushing losses against the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, there are three other games on the Week 11 docket that I believe you’ll find are offering the best NFL Betting value for Week 11. If you’re looking to make a series of winning Week 11 wagers, then let’s get to those picks right now.

NFL Week 11 Must Bet Games – 2018 Season

Dallas Cowboys at Atlanta Falcons (-3)

Dallas did pretty well last season to finish at 9-7 without star running back Ezekiel Elliott for a half-dozen games, so one would expect that they’d be better in 2018 with their franchise running back on the field for the entire campaign. Elliot should help improve an offense that finished 14th in scoring (22.1 ppg), but the Cowboys won’t have Dez Bryant and they didn’t do much to upgrade their offense if you ask me. Defensively, Dallas ranked 13th in points allowed (20.8 ppg) last season but, I think they also failed to improve their defense as much as they could have this offseason. The Atlanta Falcons will enter the 2018 season with some legitimate Super Bowl hopes after going 10-6 last season while ranking 15th in scoring (22.1 ppg) and eye-opening eighth in points allowed (19.7 ppg). If the Falcons play top 10 defense again this coming season and improve their offense in their second year under offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian like I believe they will, they could make a legitimate run for a Super Bowl berth. Atlanta smacked Dallas senseless in their 27-7 Week 10 win last season and I believe they are the fairly easy pick to pull off another compelling win in this Week 11 matchup, although it will be a bit closer than their 20-point win over the Boys a year ago. NFL Week 11 Betting Pick: Atlanta -3

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears (+3)

I really like Chicago’s hiring of former Chiefs’ offensive coordinator Matt Nagy and I believe the Andy Reid disciple will help second-year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky reach his full potential as the pair grow together over the next couple of seasons. Having said that, there’s no way I see a rebuilding Bears team beating a Minnesota Vikings team that, not only swept Chicago last season but one that should be a legitimate Super Bowl title contender in 2018, based on the fact that they have the best defense in all football these days. Chicago would do well to approach eight wins in 2-18 after going 5-11 a year ago while Minnesota is simply looking to take another step after reaching the NFC Championship game last season. This pick is as easy as pie. Even on the road, the Minnesota Vikings are the easy pick to win and cover the chalk against their longtime NFC North division rivals. NFL Week 11 Betting Pick: Minnesota -3

Houston Texans at Washington Redskins (+3)

The Houston Texans may have both gone 4-12 a year ago, but the AFC South-based franchise is looking to get back in the playoff mix in 2018 under gifted young quarterback Deshaun Watson and a star-studded defense headed up by superstar defensive lineman J.J. Watt. DeShaun Watson and the Texans should be your pick for NFL Week 11. The Washington Redskins are also looking to get back to being a playoff participant after missing out on a postseason berth the last two years. Washington has moved on from former quarterback Kirk Cousins and made a wise move to turn to veteran Alex Smith. Unfortunately for the Skins though, they don’t have as much talent on their roster as Houston nor can Jay Gruden compete with Texans counterpart Bill O’Brien. I’m expecting Deshaun Watson to be a flat-out superstar sooner rather than later. He’ll have his way in this one by throwing to DeAndre Hopkins and Wes Fuller early and often while running back Lamar Miller also makes his presence felt! The Texans are definitely the better defensive team in this matchup and with Watson under center, the better offensive team as well. NFL Week 11 Betting Pick: Houston -3
