The playoff races in the NFL are always exciting to watch, but with an extra spot available in each conference this season, they might be even more so. Another thing to consider is that only one team gets a bye in each conference, so the race for the #1 seed is also going to be intriguing. In the AFC, it looks to be a 2-horse race for that top seed, but things are a good deal more wide open in the NFC. There is still a lot of football to be played between now and the end of the season, so the standings that we see now may not even be close to the same once all is said and done. Every week is huge from this point forward, but for now, let’s turn our attention to Week 11 and the O/U picks that we have selected for you to make your bets against their NFL odds.
Week 11 O/U Picks for the 2020 Season | NFL Betting
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints (UNDER 51 ½)
A single play can alter the fortunes of every team in the league. Did wee see the fortunes change for the New Orleans Saints when Drew Brees went down with broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung last week? The Saints were able to survive an injury to their star QB last season, but can lightning strike twice? We are not yet sure whether Winston or Hill will get the start this week against the Falcons, but we do know that Alvin Kamara is likely to be running the ball a ton. This will be a tough one against a Falcons team in form with 3 wins out of their last 4. In terms of the point total, it has been the UNDER that has hit in 5 of the last 7 games that the Falcons have played in New Orleans. Given the circumstances here, I think we get more of the same.
Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers (OVER 49)
Despite their 3-7 record this season, the Panthers have been pretty competitive, especially when you consider that they have been without the services of Christian McCaffrey for a large portion of the year. They have now lost 4 in a row, but they have been able to put some points on the board despite the fact that they are missing their best weapon. It has been the defensive side of the football that has hurt them. Matthew Stafford and company will be looking to exploit that this weekend, as they look to build on a 30-27 win over the Washington Football Team in Week 10. The OVER has hit in 6 of the last 9 games for the Lions, as well as in 5 of their last 7 versus conference foes. 4 of the last 6 meetings between these two have also gone OVER.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars (OVER 46 ½)
There are a lot of big stories to be found in the NFL this season, but the Steelers sitting at 9-0 heading into Week 11 is certainly up there with the best. We all knew that the defense was going to be great, which it has been, but there were some concerns about the health of Big Ben after major elbow surgery. All is well in that department, too. A game against the 1-8 Jacksonville Jaguars looks like a slam dunk for the Steelers, but Pittsburgh always seems to have a tough time against this team. That aside, the Steelers have seen 2 of their last 3 games go OVER, while 6 of the last 9 that the Jags have played in the month of November have also gone OVER.
