Who Will Be the NFL Division Champions in 2021?

Who Will Be the NFL Division Champions in 2021?

It’s early in the NFL’s preseason, and there’s a level of optimism surrounding every team. Each team thinks that this is the year that they’ll make it to the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, only two teams will end up in the big game, and only one will win it. That means that 31 teams will end their season disappointed.

One of the goals that each team has is winning their division. By winning your division, you have an easier path to the Super Bowl. There are eight division winners each season. Let’s take a look at which eight teams we think will win their division crown this season so you can start planning your bets against their NFL odds.

NFL 2021-22 Division Championships Betting Analysis

NFC North

This division looks to be a two-way race between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings. Now that Aaron Rodgers is back, the Packers have the inside track at winning the NFC North. He should have a great offense surrounding him. The Packers just hope that the defense can continue to make progress.

As for the Vikings, we think that they have the potential of making the playoffs, but we’re not sure if they can unseat the Packers. If Kirk Cousins can play well, the Vikings will be in good shape.

We’re taking Green Bay to win the NFC North.

NFC South

How can you pick against the defending Super Bowl champion who returns all 22 starters? This is the case in Tampa Bay, as the Buccaneers have everyone returning. Tom Brady will lead the way. The Saints don’t have Drew Brees any more, and the Falcons and Panthers aren’t ready yet. Tampa Bay should run away with the South.

NFC East

This division doesn’t have a standout team. The Cowboys should have a stellar offense, while the Washington Commanders could have the best defense in the league. We’re leaning towards the WFT in this one, as they should have a nice offense as well. Bringing Ryan Fitzpatrick in should help Washington’s offense.

We like the Cowboys offense, but their line could be an issue, and their defense won’t be very good.

NFC West

This could be the most balanced division in the NFL. Any of the four teams out West could win it. Los Angeles brought Matthew Stafford in to lead Sean McVay’s offense. The 49ers defense should be back healthy. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks offense should put up a ton of points, and the same can be said for the Arizona Cardinals offense.

We’re going to go with the Rams to win the West. Not only should they have a very good offense, but Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, and the Rams defense should also be a very strong unit.

AFC North

We think that the Browns and the Ravens both have a great shot at winning the AFC North. Cincinnati is still a few players away, and we don’t think the Steelers have enough offense to win it. We’re not totally sold on Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense. With that being said, we’re going with the Browns. The Browns have made improvements to their defense, and the Browns offense should be a very strong unit. We’ll see how well Odell Beckham bounces back this season. If he can, look out for the Browns.

AFC South

Nothing against Jacksonville and Houston, but they just don’t have enough to win the division. Tennessee and Indianapolis are the two main contenders. Indy brought in Carson Wentz, while Tennessee acquired Julio Jones. The big difference between the two is that the Colts have a very good defense. That’s why we’re going with the Colts as our division winner.

AFC East

The Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins could all make the playoffs this season. However, only one team can win the division, and we think that the Buffalo Bills will repeat as division champions. The Josh Allen to Stefon Diggs connection will be very hard to stop, and the Bills also have a strong defense. Belichick’s squad will be better, and Miami is progressing well under Brian Flores, but neither will have enough to unseat the Bills.

AFC West

How can anyone pick against the Kansas City Chiefs? Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense should be a powerful unit again this season. Their defense was one of the best in the league at the end of last season. The Chargers should be improved, and the Broncos should have a good defense, but they won’t be able to beat the Chiefs.
