Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans

This is one game where the trends may go out the window a little, as both of these teams are coming in with some serious QB issues to deal with. Oakland Raiders will be starting their third string guy, while the Texans will be relying on Brock Osweiler, who has proven to be a big money bust so far. That aside there is one trend that jumps right off the page, and that is that the Raiders are just 2-9 SU in their last 11 games versus teams with a winning record. That may help explain why the Texans are a 3.5-point favorite for this one.

Detroit Lions at Seattle Seahawks

The Lions are one of the surprise teams in the playoffs this season, and the bigger surprise would be if they were able to come up with the win in Seattle. Detroit are a rather miserable 0-8 SU in their last 8 playoff games, and they also went just 1-6-1 ATS in those games. Seattle have had some real success versus the Lions, and have won 4 of the last 5 games, going 3-1-1 ATS in those games. It should also be noted that the Lions finished the season with 3 straight losses.

Miami Dolphins at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers will play host to the Miami Dolphins in the early game on Sunday, and are coming in as a rather hefty 10-point favorite. It may come as a surprise to learn that the Steelers have lost 4 of their last 5 playoff games, although one of those was a loss to the Packers in the playoffs. That said, they have won 7 straight, and are 5-1-1 ATS in that stretch. Miami are doing okay, too, going 9-2 SU and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11. The Dolphins have covered in their last 3 meetings versus the Steelers.

New York Giants at Green Bay Packers

Wild Card Weekend ends with what may well be the best game of the bunch. The Packers ended the season on a hot streak, winning 6 straight to land themselves the AFC North crown. They also went a very healthy 5-1 ATS during that run. The Giants have gone about their business very quietly this season, but have been a very good bet over the last couple of months, going 9-2 SU and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games. Packers have the home field edge, and will start the game as a 4.5-point betting odds favorite.
