2017 NHL Winning Favorites For Pittsburgh At Nashville Game 4
The championship game or series is the pinnacle of professional sports for both the teams involved and the fans. While each team involved would like to get things over as quickly as possible, we fans are selfish in that we want to see a series go as deep as possible. There were some serious doubts that we might be getting an extended series after the Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins blasted the Nashville Predators in the opening games to take a quick 2-0 series lead. Game 3 quickly became do or die for the Preds, and they were able to come up big, winning 5-1 on home ice to haul themselves back into this thing. This is not the time for the Predators to relax, though, as they will be well aware that a loss on Game 4 would push them to the brink, and force them to head back to Pittsburgh in need of a win, which is something that is becoming increasingly difficult to do as these playoffs progress. Game 4 will go Monday night in Nashville. Find out more about the updated hockey betting odds right here.

Why bet on the Pittsburgh Penguins
The Penguins were given a little dose of their own medicine in Game 3, as they surrendered a bunch of quick goals to fall behind in that one. The champions have been offensively explosive in this series on home ice, and they need to recapture that in this game if they want to put the screws back on the Predators. It wasn’t really a huge surprise that Pittsburgh let up a little in Game 3, as they were perhaps in too comfortable a position. They will have gone to Nashville with the hope of coming away with a split from the two games, and that objective is still very much on the table here.
Why bet on the Nashville Predators
Despite the big win in Game 3, make no mistake, all the pressure is still squarely on the shoulders of the Nashville Predators. They still need to win this one, and then somehow have to find a way to get at least one win on the road against a Penguins team that is beginning to look unbeatable in their own building. The Predators will be pleased with their offensive outburst in the last game, but are likely to be even happier that their goaltending and defense was back to normal, as both looked pretty ordinary in the opening two games of this series. With that win, the Predators are now 8-1 at home through the playoffs, but need win #9 if they are to have a realistic shot at the cup.
Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction
As good as the Predators have been at home throughout the playoffs, I still feel that the pressure may get to them here. The Penguins know what it takes to win the Stanley Cup, and that experience will be on display in Game 4.
