The Ducks are coming off an iffy week where they won two games and lost two games as well. Their hold on a playoff spot in the Pacific Division is, however, still solid, as they now own a six-point lead on Arizona, thanks to their 8-2 SU run in the last 10 games. The biggest positive takeaway from last week is that David Perron, who was acquired from Pittsburgh in January, has 11 points in 11 games since arriving in Anaheim, including three points in the last two games. More notably, the Ducks have owned the Oilers for quite a while, going 13-3 SU in their last 16 road games against Edmonton, a record that includes the 1-0 win at Rexall Place on December 31st. Against the struggling Oilers that have lost four of their last five games, and shakily gone 5-5 in their last 10 home games, the Ducks look well set for another win this Tuesday. Why Bet on Edmonton
After being outscored 13-2 last weekend, the Oilers are seemingly trending positively, going 1-1-1 last week and showing signs of solid competitiveness in their games. The return of Connor McDavid has been a big shot in the arm for the Oilers. In the seven games since he broke his collarbone, McDavid has posted 12 points. His regular linemates, Jordan Eberle and Benoit Pouliot, have equally been hot for the team, each averaging more than one point per game. There is also a bit of some hope in the fact that the Oilers are 3-2 SU in their last five home games, so another strong home show could easily lead to an upset win over the Ducks who are 2-2 SU in their last four road games.
