Dallas vs St. Louis/Chicago Second Round NHL Playoff Pick
Written by Henry Watkins on April 25, 2016
At the start of this season, hockey fans knew that the Central Division was where the Western Conference champion may very well emerge from. A total of 5 teams came out of that division and into the playoffs, and that number could well be reduced to 2 once the second round gets under way. So far, the only team from the Central that have booked their ticket into the second round are the Dallas Stars, and they did so in some considerable style. The knocked off the Minnesota Wild in 6 games, and scored a ton of goals in the process. Based on that performance, they have emerged as perhaps the team to beat in the West this playoff season. Dallas will face either the defending champion Chicago Blackhawks or the St. Louis Blues in Round 2, as those two teams are unsurprisingly heading to a Game 7. I had that series pegged as a 7-game thriller from the start, and they have certainly not disappointed. We will have a clearer idea of the updated odds once that series has been decided, so be sure to check back to MyBookie online sportsbook regularly for all the latest odds changes.
