Tampa Bay Lightning at Columbus Blue Jackets – Tuesday November 29

Two of the most explosive offenses in the NHL will be squaring off in this one, so expect some sparks to fly in Columbus. Tampa Bay are a game over .500 on the road this season, and have already banged in 70 goals. Despite losing 2 in a row, they are still 6-4-0 in their last 10. Columbus have been playing well of late, too, and are 6-2-2 in their last 10 games. They are 7-3-1 on home ice this season, so they are going to be a tough nut for Columbus to crack.

San Jose Sharks at LA Kings – Wednesday November 30

We mentioned earlier how tight the races are in each of the 4 divisions, but it is the Pacific Division that is the tightest of all. There are only 8 points separating first place Edmonton from basement dwelling Arizona, which gives you an idea of the log jam in the middle. Two of those teams, the San Jose Sharks and LA Kings will be squaring off in a California battle that could potentially put one of them on top of the heap.

New Jersey Devils at Chicago Blackhawks – Thursday December 1

The Devils are a better team than their overall record might suggest. Part of their problem has been their inability to get results in the road, and they will have another tough one on Thursday night when they head to Chicago to face a Blackhawks team that have been dominant on home ice. Part of the fun of this meeting is that these are two teams who don’t meet very often. The Devils have actually won 2 of the last 3 meetings versus Chicago, so we could have an upset on the cards here.
