Top NHL Parlay Picks Of The Week (Dec. 12th – Dec. 15th)

Written by on December 12, 2016

It’s a bit of a strange time in the NHL right now, as several teams are on rather large winning streaks, with the majority of those teams playing in the Metropolitan Division. While these long streaks would suggest that picking winners should be easier, you need to remember that positive streaks can very quickly start to go in the opposite direction in an 82-game season. We have had some mixed success with our parlay picks this season, and much of that has to do with the long NHL betting grind and the parity in this league. It’s a new week now, though, so let’s see if we can’t bag some winners just in time for the holiday season.

Here’s A Closer Look At The Top NHL Parlay Picks Of The Week (Dec. 12th – Dec. 15th)

NHL Parlay Monday December 12 – Penguins and Canadiens

The Penguins are one of those teams on a roll right now, as they are heading into this week on a 5-game winning streak. They are 11-2-1 at home this season, and are starting the week off against an Arizona team that has only gone 3-6-3 on the road this season. The Canadiens have a tougher start to the week with the Boston Bruins rolling into town, but it’s fair to say that Montreal has a definite edge on home ice. They have gone 12-1-1 in their own building this season, and I like them to win a tight one here.

NHL Parlay Tuesday December 13 – Capitals and Sharks

The Capitals and the New York Islanders are both 6-3-1 in their last 10 games, but it is Washington that is on the hotter streak, coming into this week after winning 4 straight. This might be closer than some people think, but the Caps win. When the Toronto Maple Leafs win this season, it is usually on home ice, where they are a respectable 8-5-0. The Sharks are a better team at home, too, but are coming into this game having gone 7-3-0 in their last 10. I think they pick up the road win.

NHL Parlay Wednesday December 14 – Flames and Flyers

The Calgary Flames saw their new season get off to a sputtering start, but they have turned things around in a big way with 6-straight wins. They should be able to edge out a Tampa Bay team that has lost 3-straight, and which is just 2-7-1 in their last 10 games. There is no team hotter than the Philadelphia Flyers and their 9-game winning streak coming into this week. They have what looks to be a total banker on Thursday when they go head to head with the awful Colorado Avalanche.

NHL Parlay Thursday December 15 – Blackhawks and Jets

The Chicago Blackhawks have started this season like a team on a mission, and have opened a nice lead atop the Central Division. You have to like their chances against an Islanders team that is rooted to the cellar in the Metropolitan. The decision to fire the head coach in Florida is one that has done nothing to help a Panthers team that are now just 3-4-3 in their last 10. I think they could be on trouble on the road versus the high-scoring Winnipeg Jets.
