Top NHL Parlay Picks Of The Week (Nov. 7th – 11th)

Written by on November 7, 2016

The NHL season is now in full swing, but there are a few teams who have been slow to get out of the gate this year. It’s always tough to pick winners in the early part of the season, especially with so many teams still trying to find their identity. The parity in this league also make it tough to handicap games. Let’s be honest, did anyone see the possibility of the Columbus Blue Jackets blanking the Montreal Canadiens 10-0 last week? I know I didn’t. Given the tough nature of making picks this early, I think going 2-2 with the parlay tickets last week wasn’t so awful. Let’s see if I can come up with a better performance this week. Feel free to play along, or perhaps go with some NHL parlay picks of your own.

Here’s A Closer Look At The Top NHL Parlay Picks Of The Week (Nov. 7th – 11th)

NHL Parlay Monday November 7 – Sabres and Islanders

Other than the runaway Canadiens, the teams in the Atlantic Division are all packed tightly together. The Buffalo Sabres will have a shot at separating themselves from the Bruins when they head into Boston on Monday night, and a 4-1-2 road record suggests they can get the win. The Vancouver Canucks are 0-3-2 on the road to start the season, and they have what looks like a very difficult trip to the Big Apple to face the Islanders. I think they will fall to another defeat in this one.

NHL Parlay Tuesday November 8 – Rangers and Capitals

I hate to pile on the Canucks, but they look to be in a little over their heads to start this week. I have them going down to the Islanders on Monday night, and I also believe that they will fall to the Rangers on Tuesday. The Washington Capitals are a solid 4-1-0 at home to start the season, and should be the favorites to come up with the win against a San Jose Sharks team that is 2-4-0 on the road so far.

NHL Parlay Thursday November 10 – Ducks and Canadiens

The Anaheim Ducks are 6-3-1 in their last 10 heading into this week, and they have what looks like a pretty straightforward visit to Carolina on Thursday. The Hurricanes have one of the worst records in the NHL, and should bow down here. The Montreal Canadiens have recovered nicely from the 10-0 pounding they took from the Blue Jackets last week, and are currently 9-1-0 in their last 10. They should be able to handle an LA Kings team that has struggled on the road early.

NHL Parlay Friday November 11 – Blackhawks and Oilers

After a bit of a slow start, the Chicago Blackhawks have caught fire and come into this week on a 6-game winning streak. They have a tough outing versus the Capitals on Friday, but with a 7-1-1 home record so far, I like Chicago to prevail. The Edmonton Oilers have jumped out to a surprise lead in the Pacific Division, and they will welcome in the Dallas Stars to start the weekend. Should be a close one, but I like Edmonton to edge it.
