On Tuesday, there is a full slate of games, but the one that interests us the most is the San Jose Sharks at the Chicago Blackhawks. The Blackhawks appear to be playing their best hockey of the season, and San Jose is looking to chase down the Kings in the division. Wednesday is a small slate of games, but don’t forget the Eastern Conference battle between the New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins. Friday – the St. Louis Blues visit Sunrise Florida and battle the Florida Panthers. After winning the Central Division a season ago, the Blues fell in the first round. This year, the Blues have been battered by injuries. St. Louis still looks comfortable heading to the postseason. For Florida, they are red hot, with 68 points. More recently, the Panthers have dropped two straight games. Tampa Bay is 6 points behind the Panthers in the Atlantic Division. Look for a good defensive battle between the Blues and Panthers on Friday night.

Saturday – the Washington Capitals head to the Big D and take on the Dallas Stars. The Capitals have the best record in all of the NHL. For most of the season, Dallas had the best record in the Western Conference. Now, the Stars are second, behind the Blackhawks. Both teams are incredible offensively, but Washington appears to be a better defensive team. The Capitals look to show who is the boss on the road at Dallas on Saturday night.

Finally, on Sunday – the best game of the day is the NBC game, where the Boston Bruins are at the Detroit Red Wings. The Bruins and Red Wings may get a chance to play in the first round of the postseason. Both teams have 62 points on the season. Both teams have also won their last two games.
