One of the oldest clichés in professional sports is the one about it being tough to repeat as a champion. Sure, it may be overused, but it is also very true. Every sport is tough, but perhaps none tougher than hockey. This is a brutal sport, with every player on the ice just one hit away from seeing their season come to a premature end. The Pittsburgh Penguins are the defending Stanley Cup champions, and while they have looked very good again though the opening two rounds, they are starting to see injuries become a major concern. They have already seen Kris Letang go down for the year, and then had to play without Sidney Crosby for a game after he got his bell rung in the first period of Game 3. Crosby returned for Game 5, but was mostly ineffective in a loss that helped keep the Capitals season alive. The second round series moves back to Pittsburgh for Game 6, where the champions will have another shot at bringing this series to an end. Find the latest hockey betting odds here.
