Kansas Jayhawks Win More than 8 Games
Rock Chalk. In fact, Kansas may threaten to get to the College Football playoff. Kansas has a fairly soft opening to their season.
Jalon Daniels returns, and this was a team that got just outside the Top 15 a season ago.
The big game on the slate is October 26th against Kansas State.
The expectations are rising in Lawrence, but so is the talent, the Jayhawks will win more than 8 games in 2024.

North Carolina State wins the Atlantic Coast Conference
Let’s be honest, the Atlantic Coast Conference is not as talented as it used to be in previous seasons. Clemson is still the favorite, with Florida State right there. Miami has never lived up to expectations in recent history.
This is why Dave Doeren and the Wolf Pack are our pick at +700 to win the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Their schedule is relatively soft, with Clemson being the only ranked conference game on theri schedule.
It will be interesting in Week 2 as the NC State takes on Tennessee in Charlotte.

USC Trojans struggle in the Big Ten; go UNDER 7.5 wins
This is not the Pac-12 anymore for Lincoln Riley and his Trojans. The Trojans schedule is brutal. USC lost some really good players. Especially at skill positions.
Sure, they will bring talent in, but this is not a team that is going to be contending for the College Football playoff. In fact, we are going to take USC at 6-6.
They have Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin on their conference slate. Take the UNDER 7.5 wins.

Nebraska Threatens to win Big Ten
Okay, so maybe we are not going to quite risk our hard earned money on Nebraska at 60/1 to win the Big Ten Conference. But, maybe we are. I mean, crazier things have happened, right?
Nebraska likely will not be an underdog in a game until Week 8. Matt Rhule has done good work to build excitement around the program, now he needs to turn it into wins.
Sure, you want bold – taking Nebraska at +6000 to win the Big Ten Conference is bold.

Alabama does not reach College Football Playoff; Under 9.5 wins
Kalen DeBoer lost some really talented players. Nick Saban’s worth will be noted right away with this team. It’s not that DeBoer does a bad job as the head coach, more in line with Alabama being down some talent, and in a rough spot in the SEC.
The Crimson Tide will miss Caleb Downs and JulianSayin along with others that left the program. The big news will be the Crimson Tide do not reach the College Football Playoff.
The real story here is taking the UNDER 9.5 wins for the Crimson Tide.

Five Bold NCAA Betting Predictions for the College Football Season
Texas and Oklahoma will struggle in the SEC
Oklahoma not so much, but many expect Texas to have massive success in their first season in the SEC. However, Texas didn’t play great in the College Football Playoff, losing to Washington 37-31.
No doubt, Washington was a great football team last season. This season, Texas must play great team after great team just to get into the College Football Playoff. That’s won’t be easy to accomplish.
Ohio State Dominates the Big Ten
The Big Ten added Washington and Oregon. But although the two Pac 12 schools will play terrific football, it’s going to be difficult for either to get by loaded Ohio State.
Ron Day got tired of losing to Michigan. So Day convinced OSU to hand Chip Kelly a massive contract to run the offense. Kelly and Day recruited Will Howard to transfer from Kansas State.
The defense should be terrific because it added Caleb Downs. Back Ohio State to win the Big Ten for sure.
Arizona Wins the Big 12
This might be the boldest prediction on this list. Arizona is one of the few teams in the newly revamped Big 12 that has kept its core from last season.
Noah Fifita to Tetairoa McMillan will be this season’s top QB/WR combination. Not only that, but the defense should be stellar because linebacker Justin Flowe returns. Give the Cats the Big 12 title at overlay odds.
Kevin DeBoer’s Offense at Alabama is Great but the Defense Takes a Massive Backward Step
DeBoer knows offense, which means Jalen Milroe is going to have stellar season. The defense, though, will be a different story. Washington’s defense wasn’t great and that was in the Pac 12.
DeBoer is going to have some pains developing a SEC defense that can hang with Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, and LSU, which are all on Bama’s schedule this season. Season 1 in the DeBoer Era could be a struggle.
The College Football Playoff Final Four Ends Up: Ohio State, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Arizona
Ohio State and Georgia are locks to make it to this season’s College Football Final Four. Ole Miss and Arizona will notch their tickets to the top twelve but will have to work hard to get to the final four.
Ole Miss may send the top quarterback in the SEC, Jaxon Dart, to the field. If the Rebels’ defense pick it up this season, Lane Kiffin’s squad will get it done.
Zona has the offense and defense to surprise everybody. Don’t sleep on the Cats to challenge for the National Championship at the massive +8000 odds.

Five Bold NCAA Betting Predictions for the 2023 College Football Season
Previous Betting News
College football is always a great sport to bet on, and it’s also a season that comes with plenty of big surprises. Picking those surprises can lead to some terrific payouts, and it’s also going to make the entire college football season more exciting for you.
Here is a look at five bold college football betting predictions to make for the upcoming 2023 season.
Five Bold NCAA Betting Predictions for the 2023 College Football Season | MyBookie NCAAF Betting Preview before the Season
2023 NCAA Division I FBS season | 154th season of college football in the United States
August 26, 2023–December 9, 2023
Florida Beats Utah Week 1
There are some great college football games set to take place during Week 1 of the season, and that includes a matchup between the Florida Gators and Utah Utes. Utah looks like a team that should be in title contention heading into 2023, while Florida is still trying to really turn things around.
Florida is a big 9.5-point underdog in this game, but don’t be surprised to see them pick up an impressive win in this matchup. Utah is still going to have a great season, but they won’t be ready for a very athletic Gators team in Week 1.
Taking the 9.5-points is a safer play, but it’s a bigger win to bet on Florida to win the game outright.
Nebraska Stuns Minnesota
The Big Ten Conference doesn’t get enough attention for just how good of a league it is, but there are going to be some great teams in 2023 as well. Minnesota is a team that is expected to contend in the West, while Nebraska is not.
These two teams will meet up in Week 1 in 2023, and the Golden Gophers are 7.5-point betting favorites at home. Minnesota is going to be the better overall team, but that won’t be the case in Week 1.
Nebraska is going to win this game at Minnesota to begin the year as they will start to turn things around.
Division Titles to Win this Season
Ohio State Wins Title
If you are going to make a futures bet on college football, then you will have the best odds if you are looking to bet on the eventual champion. Georgia and Alabama currently have the best odds to win the title, but the Ohio State Buckeyes aren’t too far behind them.
Ohio State should roll through the Big Ten Conference this season, and that will put them in a great spot for the College Football Playoffs. This team did lose a ton of talent from the 2022 team, but they are going to be able to score some points.
Take Ohio State +650 to win the national championship during the 2023 season.
Bet Ohio State to Win Championship

Alabama Wins SEC
The SEC will once again be the best college football conference in the country, and it’s going to be a two-team race. Georgia is the clear favorite to win the SEC in 2023, but at some point, their reign is going to come to an end.
Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban still has some magic left in him, and he’s going to want to find a way to make some noise in 2023. Alabama is going to meet up with Georgia in the SEC Championship Game yet again, but this time they will get the job done.
Bet Alabama to Win Championship

Utah (+520) Wins Pac-12
The Pac-12 Conference is going to be one of the most competitive in the country this season, and that will lead to plenty of drama. The betting odds to win the conference are out, and they appear to be all over the place a bit.
USC is the betting favorite to win the Pac-12 Conference, and Oregon is right behind them in the odds. We already talked about Utah losing in Week 1, but don’t be surprised to see them have a strong season in the Pac-12.
Bet on Utah at +520 to win the Pac-12 and get a terrific payout for this bet.

NCAAF Betting – 10 Bold Predictions For The 2020 Season
Previous Betting News
Will the top-ranked Clemson Tigers cash in on their odds as prohibitive favorites to win the 2021 national championship? Will the perennially-powerful Alabama Crimson Tide get back into the CFP after missing the mark a year ago? Could perennial bridesmaid Oklahoma upset the entire apple cart after coming up agonizingly short the last few seasons? Last, but not least, could the polarizing Notre Dame Fighting Irish reach the CFP this coming campaign to challenge everyone for the national championship win? With the 2020 NCAA college football season really getting underway as Week 2 approaches, now is a great time for some fun-filled football betting predictions. Let’s get started with last season’s national championship runner-ups so you can make your bets against their NCAAF odds.
10 Bold Betting Predictions for the 2020 NCAA Football Season
10. The King Of South Beach
I’m just going to say it. Miami signal-caller D’Eriq King could turn out to be the best quarterback in the ACC this season. Okay, okay, maybe I’m reaching a bit, but I’m going with King to be the second-best quarterback in the conference behind Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence. In his last full season at Houston in 2018, King tossed 36 TD passes and just six picks while rushing for 674 yards and a whopping 14 additional scores. No, the Canes won’t beat out Clemson for supremacy in the ACC, but they could win 10 games and King will be a big reason why.
9. A&M Makes a Move
No one’s mentioning Texas A&M much as a contender to win the SEC West in 2020, but I think they should. Yes, the Aggies took a slight step backwards from nine wins in Jimbo Fisher’s first season in 2018 to eight wins last season, but Texas A&M has an elite head coach that has won one national championship and they have a former five-star recruit under center in Kellen Mond. Points blank, if Mond elevates his game, I think Texas A&M will challenge both, Alabama and LSU for division supremacy in 2020.
8. Texas Two-Step
I’m calling it the Texas two-step, but maybe I should call it the Texas ‘misstep’ instead. The Longhorns were expecting big things last season in Year 3 of the Tom Herman era after winning 10 games in 2018, but they came up well short of their conference and championship hopes by winning just eight games. While the Horns have a gifted quarterback in Sam Ehlinger, Texas no longer is the top recruiting program in the Lon Star state with a ton of elite high schoolers now choosing Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas A&M or even Patrick Mahomes’ Texas Tech over the Longhorns. Yeah…the Horns come up short of 10 wins again in 2020, putting Herman on the hot seat heading into 2021.
7. Iowa State Soars
Iowa State might have gone a modest 7-5 last season, but I believe the Cyclones could challenge for the Big 12 title in 2020. Iowa State has a big-time quarterback in Brock Purdy, a gifted running back in Breece Hall and a handful of tight ends that all look like future NFL performers. Nine starters are back on defense and several Big 12 rivals have made significant changes that could allow the Cyclones to soar in 2020. I like Iowa State to win 10 games at the least.
6. Transfer QB Does Not Win Heisman
If you didn’t know before, a transfer quarterback has won each of the last three Heisman trophy awards. However, it’s not happening in 2020. As a matter of fact, read my next bold prediction on the Heisman winner to find out who will win it.
5. The Heisman Winner Is…
Sure, Clemson signal-caller Trevor Lawrence is the front-runner and both, Oklahoma’s Spencer Rattler, and Texas’ Sam Ehlinger should be in the running. However, I’m going with a running back to win this year’s Heisman for the first time since Alabama’s Derrick Henry took home the hardware in 2015. There’s Clemson’s Travis Etienne and Alabama’s Najee Harris, but my pick goes to Oklahoma State star Chuba Hubbard after he racked up a stupendous 2,094 yards and 21 touchdowns as a sophomore last season. Yes, opponents will have Hubbard in their bullseye this coming season, but since I’m expecting Oklahoma State to contend for the Big 12 title, I’m going with Hubbard to win the Heisman in 2021.
4. Baylor Surprises – Again!
A lot of football ‘experts’ are expecting Baylor to take a step backwards in 2020 after watching head coach Matt Rhule bolt for the Carolina Panthers, I’m predicting the Bears surprise for the second consecutive season. Baylor made a great hire in naming former LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda as their new leading man and they have a seriously underrated quarterback in senior Charlie Brewer (3,161 yards, 21 TDs). I like the Bears to win at least 10 games in 2020 while challenging for the Big 12 championship.
3. LSU Takes Big Step Back
LSU saw four players taken in the first round of the NFL draft in quarterback Joe Burrow, edge rusher K’Lavon Chaisson, wide receiver Justin Jefferson, linebacker Patrick Queen and running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, but it is the loss of offensive coordinator Joe Brady that will set the Tigers back in a big way this coming campaign. I’m predicting LSU fails to record double-digit victories in 2020.
2. Alabama Does Not Reach CFP
Starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. and wide receivers, Henry Ruggs III and Jerry Jeudy were all taken in the first round of the NFL draft while safety Xavier McKinney and defensive tackle Raekwon Davis were picked in the second round. I know Nick Saban has made a habit out of replacing a bunch of elite players that leave every year for the NFL, but this time around, Alabama’s losses will be far too much for them to overcome as they fail to reach the CFP for the second consecutive season.
1. Clemson
Despite the fact that Clemson lost last season’s national champion and saw a handful of elite talent leave as part of their now, annual exodus to the NFL, the Tigers are looking mostly great heading into 2020. Former Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons and starting cornerback A.J. Terrell went in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft while wide receiver Tee Higgins was the first player selected in the second round. Still, with superstar quarterback Trevor Lawrence and gifted running back Travis Etienne back, Clemson will be fine on offense. On the other side of the ball, Dabo Swinney has made an annual practice of replacing elite talent. It may not be a really bold prediction, but I’m picking the Tigers to reach the national championship at the very least this coming season.
Five Bold College Football Betting Predictions for 2019 Season
Previous Betting News
The 2019 college football season gets underway on August 31, so we don’t have much longer to wait for the action to begin. The gap between seasons seems interminably long, which is perhaps why we spend so much time talking about which teams will rise and who will fall in the coming season.
That is what we are going to do again today as we prepare to look ahead and make some bold NCAA Football Betting predictions ahead of the start of the new season. Since these are indeed bold claims, it is going to be interesting to see how many of the five actually pan out.
Five Bold College Football Betting Predictions for 2019 Season
Trevor Lawrence Wins the Heisman
Knowing that he was going to be a one and done, you always got the sense that Kyler Murray was going to be a shoe-in for the Heisman last year. This time around, I think we are looking at Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence as the favorite to win the MVP.
He had a stellar first year as a starter, winning a National Championship in the process, and will likely win the Heisman if he leads his team to the playoffs again. A dark horse here might be Jake Fromm of Georgia, as this will probably be his final season.
Alabama Misses the Playoffs
This prediction is about as bold as it gets, but I just have the feeling that the loss in the National Championship Game last season may have been a sign that their reign at the top is over.
That, of course, is nothing more than a hunch on my part, as this team has lost and rebounded before, so this one may blow up in my face. I think that the Georgia Bulldogs might just be ready to take that next big step forward and steal SEC supremacy in the process.
The PAC-12 Misses Out Again
The PAC-12 is not in particularly great shape at the moment, as they don’t really have a dominant standout team that could make a serious run at a National Championship.
You have Washington and Oregon essentially locked in a 2-horse race in terms of being the bookies’ favorites, but neither team strikes me as a potential playoff candidate. I see another lean year for this conference.
No Power 5 Team Goes Unbeaten
If we are looking at likely unbeaten Power 5 candidates for the coming season, it would be Alabama and Clemson that would appear most capable of going through the regular season unscathed.
Since I believe that Alabama will lose, that leaves the defending champions. They had a couple of close calls last season and are probably going to see that happen again this year. The law of averages suggests that they will drop one of those close ones.
Michigan Finally Topples Ohio State
Ohio State is arguably the best team in the Big Ten heading into the new season, but they have a couple of things working against them, most notably trying to learn a new system under new head coach Ryan Day. The pressure is going to be absolutely immense, which may end up wearing heavily on this team.
Michigan is going to be great on the defensive side of the football and have a veteran QB in Shea Patterson. They get the Buckeyes at home this year and I think Harbaugh finally gets the rivalry win.
Five Bold College Football Betting Predictions for 2018 Season
Previous Betting News
With the start of the College Football betting action now just a matter of weeks away, it’s time to start looking at the season ahead. One of the great things about college football is that it delivers the exciting and unexpected on a weekly basis. The predictions that we make today are very probably going to look ridiculous once we have crowned the National Champion, but it’s the trying that makes all of this so much fun.
The goal now is to look ahead and see if we can get one or two of these predictions right, although we promise not to gloat if we kill it. With all that being said, let’s make 5 bold predictions for the 2018 college football season.
Five Bold College Football Betting Predictions for 2018 Season
Alabama Misses the Playoffs
While the Alabama Crimson Tide won it all last year, there are some who still contend that they were lucky to be in the playoffs at all. They lost the SEC West to the Auburn Tigers and still got in despite not winning a division or a conference championship. This is a team that is always dangerous, but I think they have some questions at the QB position.
Tua came in and played great in the second half against Georgia last year, but can he sustain that through an entire season? I am not suggesting that Alabama fall off the face of the earth, but I still think they will miss the playoffs.
Bryce Love is Your Heisman Winner
The Stanford Cardinal RB put up some gaudy numbers in his sophomore season last year, finishing second to Baker Mayfield for the Heisman. If he can match the stats that he put up in 2017 (over 2100 yards and 8.1 yards per carry) the Heisman will be his. I know this may not go down as a bold prediction given that he is the favorite, but we all know that the season of an RB can be done with a single hit.
The Big 12 is on the Outside Looking In
There are 5 power conferences in college football and only 4 playoff spots, so it stands to reason that at least one of them is not going to send a team to the postseason. This year, I think it may be the Big 12 that are going to be the odd one out.
The Oklahoma Sooners were the class of the conference last year, but with QB Baker Mayfield off to the NFL, they are almost certainly going to take a step back. There are a few good teams here, but none that I see as great.
The 4 Playoff Teams
If the Big 12 does indeed miss out on the postseason, that means we will have 4 teams from the other Power 5 conferences, but who will they be.
Clemson once again looks like a lock in the ACC, while the Ohio State Buckeyes are my pick in the Big 10. In the SEC, I am going with the Georgia Bulldogs, while I also like the Washington Huskies in the PAC 12.
The Georgia Bulldogs Will Be National Champions
Kirby Smart is well on his way to building a program that will eventually take over from Alabama as the power in the SEC, and arguably all of college football. They were about a year ahead of schedule last season, and while they lost a lot of key seniors, the last two recruiting classes have been nothing short of outstanding. The Bulldogs reload and win the National Championship.
Five Bold NCAA Predictions for the 2017 College Football Season
Previous Betting News
If you’re looking for some bold predictions for the upcoming 2017 college football season, then there’s no one better to ask than a bold, ‘tell-it-like-it is’ guy from the City of Brotherly Love like me.
Since I’ve never been shy to express my thoughts and opinions, (I’ve been told to keep them to myself…thanks mom) I’m going to offer up five bold predictions for the upcoming college football season that will leave you smiling like that wily old Cheshire cat. Let’s get to it and check on the latest NCAAF betting predictions here..
Analyzing The Five Bold NCAA Predictions for the 2017 College Football Season
Alabama Loses its Opener Against Florida State
The Alabama Crimson Tide (14-1 SU, 10-5 ATS) may be the prohibitive odds on favorites to win the 2018 national championship after coming up just short against Deshaun Watson and the Clemson Tigers last season, but I’m going on record right now to say that the Tide won’t be rolling when they take on Deondre Francois and a loaded Florida State Seminoles (10-3 SU, 8-4 ATS) team that is loaded with talent and expecting big things heading into 2017.
Washington Runs the Table
After posting a fantastic double-digit winning campaign (12-2 SU, 7-7 ATS) that helped them reach the four-team, CFB Playoffs last college football season, the sky is clearly the limit for Jake browning and Chris Petersen’s blossoming Washington Huskies program.
As a matter of fact, after examining the Huskies 2017 schedule, I think it’s quite possible that they could run the table and win all 12 of their games this coming season. The only real troublesome games Washington has on its upcoming schedule is, at Stanford and at home against Utah and Washington in their final three regular season matchups. It’s going to be difficult, but I think Petersen and his genius offensive mind will find a way to help his Washington Huskies run the table in 2017.
Washington Huskies Team Statistics
Penn State Wins the Big Ten
Penn State went 11-3 last season and 9-1 in conference play to win the Big ten, but after getting short end of the stick from the College Football Playoff committee come postseason time, I’m thinking a ticked off Trace McSorley and Saquon Barkley will make sure that Penn State leaves less of a doubt in voters’ minds this college football season. Yes, Ohio State will be very good under the polarizing Urban Meyer (again) and so will Wisconsin, but in the end, I believe the Big ten is Penn State’s to win for the second straight season – and the Penn State Nittany Lions will end up doing just that!
Penn State Nittany Lions Team Statistics
I don’t know if it’s a really bold prediction saying that Notre Dame Head coach Brian Kelly is going to get the ax following the 2017 campaign, seeing as how his Fighting Irish compiled a pitiful 4-8 mark last season, but that’s my prediction.
I know Kelly recorded a winning record in each of his six previous season with the Irish prior to last year, but he’s also suffered three five-loss campaigns along the way. If Kelly and the Irish don’t win, let’s say, nine games in 2017, (they won’t) I believe he’s outta’ there!
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Team Statistics
Texas Wins 10
I know he will be in his first season coaching the Longhorns, but I’m thinking Tom Herman will get his young team to the 10-win mark in his very first season with Texas after the Horns went 5-7 in Charlie Strong’s final college football season a year ago.
The Horns look like they’re going to easily reach the eight or nine-win mark in 2017 and I believe they’ll bag 10 wins if they upset one of three teams on their schedule, whether it’s Oklahoma, Oklahoma State or USC (not gonna’ happen). Herman is a widely-respected football guy and he nearly got Houston into the CFP in each of the last two years. Believe it or not, 10 wins is certainly not out of the question for Texas in 2017.
