2021 Gallagher English Premiership Round 12 Expert Analysis

Written by on March 3, 2021

Okay MyBookie rugby betting nation Round 12 of the 2021 English Premiership rugby season is set for this coming weekend. More importantly, I’ve identified three matchups that all look like they’re offering a ton of value. Now, let’s find out who’s in action and where the best rugby betting value lies so you can place your bets against their Rugby odds.

Rugby Betting Analysis for Round 12 of the English Premiership

Leicester Tigers (5-0-6) Vs London Irish (4-2-5)

Leicester is coming off an embarrassing 17-3 loss at Bristol on Saturday. The Tigers gave up a pair of tries and failed to record any. The match was almost 30 minutes old before Leicester fly-half Joaquin Diaz Bonilla scored on a 40-meter penalty. London got past the Wasps 16-10 in a hard-fought affair on Saturday but have not won consecutive road matches in a year.

Prediction: The last four matches between these two clubs have all been won by the home side. Leicester is looking to move up the ladder and past a London team they have more victories than this season. Leicester will be highly focused after last weekend’s lackluster effort.

Pick: Leicester 26 London 20

Sale Sharks (7-0-4) Vs Newcastle Falcons (6-0-5)

Sale snapped a two-game skid by upsetting Exeter 25-20 at home on Friday.  Newcastle got past Harlequins 25-22 at home on Saturday. Newcastle have lost just once in their last five encounters with Sale but I have the Falcons losing against Sale on Friday. Simply put, Sale has the far more explosive offense (235 points) which they’ve used to record a decent +27 scoring differential.

Newcastle is at a modest +7 in scoring differential and has only scored a modest 156 points this season. Sorry, but Newcastle won’t be able to keep up in this one.

Pick: Sale 26 Newcastle 16

Bath (5-0-6) Vs Exeter (7-0-4)

  • When: Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM
  • Where: Recreation Ground
  • Rugby Odds: Bath +244 / Exeter -400

Bath got past Northampton 23-22 in an absolute thriller on Sunday while Exeter got upset at Sale, 25-20 on Friday. Bath is 10th in the Premiership ladder with 207 points scored and a league-leading 298 points allowed to sit at -91 in scoring differential. Exeter might have gotten upset the last time out, but the Chiefs are sitting in second place in the ladder for a reason. Exeter has put 242 points on the board while conceding 160 (+82).

Prediction: The Chiefs will be focused and highly motivated to send a message in this match that they can win on the road if necessary. The worst thing that could happen to Bath was that Exeter lost its previous match. Now, Bah will go down because of that.

Pick: Exeter 24 Bath 18
