Last Chance! Get Your NRL Round 19 Betting Picks & Analysis Before Kickoff

This is an interesting weekend in the NRL, as we have 4 of the 5 teams all sitting out with a bye, which also means they automatically pick up 2 points, which every bye team gets.

We are not going to see a lot of movement at the top, but with the teams below the cut line in action, they will have a chance to close the gap and perhaps move closer to a playoff spot.

My Analysis for Round 19 top games

There is still a lot of rugby to come before we get to the end of the regular season, but that doesn’t mean that teams don’t need to win now.

With all of this in mind, let’s take a look at 4 betting games we like in Round 19 of the NRL.

Dolphins NRL -154 vs South Sydney Rabbitohs +133

The Dolphins are down in the #6 spot at the moment with 22 points and will have the opportunity to move up with a win in this one.

They have not been particularly great of late, though, going just 1-2 over their last 3 games.

You might think that they are a good bet at home, but they have been much better away from home, going just 3-4 in their own building versus 5-3 on the road.

The Rabbitohs are on a hot streak right now, winning each of their last 4 games to get to within 2 points of the cut line.

They are, though, just 2-5 in road games this season.

Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks -233 vs West Tigers +186

The Sharks are just 1-3 in their last 4 games, but they are still near the top of the ladder, sitting in 4th place with 24 points.

They have been consistent at home and away, going 5-3 in each, but they would certainly expect a win over a team that is down at the bottom of the ladder.

The West Tigers are dead last and have managed to pick up a mere 12 points this season, winning just 4 games this season.

Playing on the road has been particularly problematic for them, with just 1 win from 8 road games.

Brisbane Broncos -213 vs St George Illawarra Dragons +167

This is a massive game for both teams, as the winner has a shot at moving above the cut line and into the top 8.

The Broncos are 2 points back of the cut one, but they are also in a poor run of form, coming into this one having lost 4 in a row.

They are now 4-4 at home, but that losing streak is concerning. The Dragons are 2 points ahead of the Broncos right now and would definitely be in the top 8 with a win in this one.

They are 2-2 in their last 4 games but have struggled on the road, going 3-6.

Manly Sea Eagles -263 vs Newcastle Knights +200

The Sea Eagles are on 21 points and sitting in 7th place on the ladder.

While that is a good place to be, they might not be above the cut line for long if they lose this one.

The Sea Eagles have gone 2-2 in their last 4 games, but they have been a tough out at home, going 6-2 in their own building.

The Knights are sitting on 20 points down in 9th place, so they also know that a win here could leapfrog them over a couple of teams.

They are 2-2 in their last 4 games and 4-4 on the road.
