The National Rugby League will definitely be the center of attention in rugby betting this weekend, with Parramatta vs. Canberra and Canberra vs. South Sydney determining which teams will head to the preliminary final rounds vs. North Queensland and Penrith.
MyBookie has a whole slate of rugby action outside of the NRL this weekend, though, including the English Premiership, the Top 14, and the National Provincial Championship that have some pretty close odds. Here’s a look at some of this weekend’s best matches so you can get ready to make your bets against their Rugby Odds.

Parramatta Eels (-205) vs Canberra Raiders (+165), NRL Friday 4:50 AM ET
It’s elimination time in the NRL, with Parramatta and Canberra putting their seasons on the lines here. The Raiders are playing with house money as they barely got into the top eight in the final spot bit punched their ticket to the next spot with a 28-20 win at Melbourne last Saturday.
Parramatta had upsets on their mind after beating Penrith twice during the regular season, but the cream rose to the crop as the #1 Panthers scored a 27-8 last week. The Raiders and Eels met once during the regular season, with Parramatta getting a 28-20 road win.
The Eels have won four of the last five in the head-to-head series.
Cronulla Sharks (+102) vs South Sydney Rabbitohs (-124), NRL Saturday 5:00 AM ET
The Sharks had risen to second place in the ladder, but their first-round finals matchup proved that third spot North Queensland was the better team – barely in a 32-30 win. That puts Cronulla’s season on the line even though they had won six in a row prior to the finals.
South Sydney was able to bounce back from a regular-season finale loss to Sydney to beat the Roosters 30-14. The only other meeting between the Sharks and Rabbitohs ended up in a golden point victory for South Sydney, 21-20, on July 30th.
Wasps Rugby (-158) vs Bristol RC Bears (+110), English Premiership Saturday 8:00 AM ET
The Wasps are decent favorites in their home opener, but they had a disappointing 27-21 start to the season last weekend against Gloucester.
Harlequins FC (-133) vs Saracens FC (-107), English Premiership Saturday 8:00 AM ET
It was a tough-fought battle, but Harlequins FC is 1-0 after their 40-31 victory over Newcastle last Saturday. The Harlequins come home to face a Saracens FC team making their season debut after their week one match with Northhampton was postponed after the announcement of the death of Queen Elizabeth.
AC Brive (+108) vs Montpellier Herault Rugby (-158), Top 14 Saturday 9:00 AM ET
A couple of teams playing the rubber match of their seasons meet up when AC Brive hosts Montpellier on Saturday. Sure it’s only been three games in the 2022 Top 14 season, but Brive and Montpellier are both off to 1-1 starts. The good news is that Toulouse and La Rochelle are the only two teams to start off the season 2-0, so the winner of this game will stay in the upper tier with a lot of games to play.
