Argentina got the luckiest of draws.

Uruguay has been as impressive, if not more so, than Argentina.

The Uruguayans played in the supposedly tougher bracket, one that included the United States and Panama.

In their final group match, Uruguay beat the U.S., knocking the Americans out of the Copa, via a Mattias Olivera goal.

The Uruguayans blasted Bolivia 5-0 in the match before and against Panama, Maximiliano Araujo, Darwin Nunez and Matias Vina scored goals to give the Uruguayans the victory.

Although Argentina has everything going for them, Uruguay is the deeper team. Araujo, Nunez, Vina, Olivera, and Rodrigo Bentancur have scored goals during the Copa America calendar.

Drawing against Colombia also makes sense. The Colombians are almost on Brazil’s level.

The 4-1 victory over Paraguay shows us what Vinicius Junior and his mates can accomplish if the entire team works together.

Working together will be key because in the quarterfinals match versus Uruguay, the Brazilians are up against a top notch squad.

If Brazil were to pull off a win against Uruguay, they’d face a motivated Argentina side.

The Argentinians are much stronger than Brazil right now.

Brazil boasts talented players. Both Rodrygo and Vinicius are two of the best on the planet.

But Argentina, overall, is the stronger team. Also, the Albiceleste takes it personally in matches versus Brazil.

Why Colombia will make the Copa America Final

Colombia outplayed Brazil during the group stage.

The Colombians may not have a lot of star power, James Rodriguez might be their biggest star, but they play well together and have a clear idea of the strategy and mission.

When Colombia is on, they can beat teams like Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina.

The Albiceleste, though, should skate into the final while Colombia must either get by Brazil or Uruguay in the semifinals.

Beating the Uruguayans or Brazilians won’t be easy. Brazil should have learned from the 1-1 draw while Uruguay is loaded.

If the Colombians do make it, though, they will face an Argentina side ready to score another tournament victory.

Martinez is on fire. It’s going to be difficult for anyone to keep Inter Milan’s midfielder from taking charge in any match.
