Top European Soccer Matches for This Weekend | Nov. 7th & 8th
- When: Saturday, Nov. 7 – Sunday, Nov. 8
Saturday, Nov. 7 Matches
- Osasuna +1 (-136) / Sevilla -1 (+102)
Sevilla has fallen on hard times. They’ve won a single match in their last 5, 1-0 versus Stade Rennes in a UEFA Champions League battle. The draw versus Chelsea four matches ago was nice, but what’s up with the 3 straight La Liga losses? Take the goal on Osasuna.
Soccer Free Pick: Osasuna
- Cadiz +1 (-103) / Atletico Madrid -1 (-128)
Since losing 0-4 to Bayern on October 21, Atletico has turned it around. They’ve got 3 wins and a draw. Cadiz hasn’t played badly, though, winning 3 and drawing in a couple of games in their last 5. Here’s another where taking the goal makes sense.
Soccer Free Pick: Cadiz
- Freiburg +1 ½ (-109) / RB Leipzig -1 ½ (-111)
Leipzig broke a 2-game losing streak with a terrific 2-1 win over Paris St. Germain in their last. RB should beat Freiburg on Saturday. But the last time these two battled, they played to a draw. It’s hard to see Leipzig beating Freiburg by more than a single goal after taking down one of the Champions League favorites.
Soccer Free Pick: Freiburg
- Bayern Munich -140 / Dortmund +298
Dortmund has won four in a row, but on November 7 they face the best club team in the world. Sure, Munich’s top rival could upset them on Saturday, but, more than likely, Bayern put’s Dortmund in their place like they have in the last 3 meetings.
Soccer Free Pick: Bayern Munich
Sunday, Nov. 8 Matches
- Real Madrid -1 (-138) / Valencia +1 (+104)
Since a 1-0 win over Sociedad on Sep. 29, Valencia has imploded. They’ve gone 0-3 with a draw. The losses happened against Betis, Villareal, and Elche. Valencia drew versus Getafe. Real Madrid beat Inter Milano 3-2 in a Champions League match earlier in the week. There’s a reason to believe they could bounce in this, but Real dominated Valencia 3-0 in a June match. Lay it.
Soccer Free Pick: Real Madrid
- Bilbao +137 / Valladolid +225
+137 on Bilbao may constitute overlay odds. The favorite heads into this over a 2-1 win against Sevilla on Halloween. Valladolid has lost 4-of-5 and Bilbao beat them 4-1 in the last head-to-head.
Soccer Free Pick: Bilbao
- Juventus -112 / Lazio +256
Lazio has 3 wins and two draws in their last 5 while Juvy has outscored their last couple of opponents 8-2. Even if Ronaldo doesn’t play, it’s hard to see how Lazio keeps up with Juventus’ offense.
Soccer Free Pick: Juventus
- Inter Milano +131 / Atalanta +167
On November 3, Liverpool decimated Atalanta 5-0 in a Champions League Match. Atalanta is better than the score indicates. They’ll play Milano, who has 2 losses and a draw in their last 3, tough on Sunday. So much so that Atalanta deserves to be the pick in this matchup
Soccer Free Pick: Atalanta
- Napoli -1 (+102) / Bologna +1 (-136)
Bologan has won 2 in a row while Napoli lost to Sassuolo in their last. Napoli hasn’t dominated in the head-to-head. We’ll do the wise thing and take the goal.
Soccer Free Pick: Bologna
- Monchengladbach +188 / Leverkusen +125
Monchengladbach has played great in the Champions League, drawing with Inter Milano and Real Madrid and beating Shakthar Donetsk 6-0. Leverkusen dominated them 3-1 in the last matchup, though. Also, while Gladbach has battled in the UCL, Leverkusen has taken apart their Bundesliga rivals. Go with Leverkusen.
Soccer Free Pick: Leverkusen
