Over the last few Word Cup Qualifying campaigns, one thing that has become abundantly clear in the CONCACAF regions is that the USA are the class of the bunch surpassing even Mexico during that run. The belief was that they would simply care their way through the hexagonal portion of qualifying and book their ticket to next year’s World Cup in Russia.
