Why bet on the USA

Say what you want about the hiring of Bruce Arena as a replacement for thee fired Jurgen Klinsmann, he is a man that comes with a ton of experience at the position. In his time as coach of the LA Galaxy in the MLS, which was very successful, he learned how to manage some very large egos and get the best out of his players. This may well be exactly what is needed with this group. Arena does have some injury concerns ahead of this one, and will be particularly troubled in the full-back position. I imagine he will be going with an attacking formation anyway, which means that a 3-5-2 may not be out of the question. Clint Dempsey will be back after an absence with a heart issue, and the major veterans in this team are all ready to go.
